Good morning.purpledonkey wrote: »:rotfl: I would've been initially, but for the last two days I've been on a crochet bender of sorts. I started this Harry Potter blanket 8 months ago and finished it tonight :j

Awful wind here but none of the white stuff even though its freezing .
Love the blanket PD you are really very talented xxx
Was really moved by savvys post last night, for someone who confesses to find things awkward it was full of kind sentiments and caring, what a lovely bloke xxx
We have lots of white stuff this morning. We are heading your way tonight, friend who lives there has just sent us a picture of bright blue skies, hope it stays all weekend.
Happy Birthday di, have a lovely day. :bdaycake:0 -
When my daughter had her baby in June I said I would be the guard on the door to stop to many visitors but her OH said no. However they had so many people dropping in 1st week ( one couple stayed 3 hours with an 18 month old! ) that she told me I was right.
So let people wait to see the baby she just needs her partner and you!! Its very exciting though. Best wishes.
Good advice I'll pass it on.0 -

That was a quick turnaround weatherwise Marmie :rotfl::rotfl: I have grabbed a cup of tea, and I adore toasted bagels, managed to find some creamed cheese to go on it
Unfortunately it stopped as quick as it started....Just cold and wet.....cream cheese on bagels is scrummy...add a bit of smoked salmon too....[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]

Now you have me salivating
I started with cream cheese on bagels in the US, used to go to a Sizzler for a very cheap breakfast and they had these massive "single" portion sachets of Philadelphia, made a very good breakfast, and lunchSeriously, everyone used to walk out with loads of stuff for lunch !

Not sure if it's been mentioned but S had a few different reds reduced to £2.79/ £3/ £3.15 own label plus ttd and Gallo in my store. Only reds though but oh is happy.
Snow sticking here, take care if you're out early in the morning.

We don't pay for wine. We make most of it, unless I can get some like on the Ogio glitch, and if we get an M&S meal I stock up on white.
Most of our home made wine is delicious, and a fabulous way to use our home made fruit
Show is coming down in very pretty large flakes now. Just glad I had not started out before it started because it was supposed to be fine for the rest of the day
Off to put a stew in the slowy, a bit late I know but I think the weather cries out for stew today. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Good Morning
Looks like we ended up with about 1/2 inch of snow but the sky looks bright this morning.Dangerous under foot so not a wombling day.
Very strange not being greeted by a little cat this morning.A friend of mine is taking the rest of his food..she feeds some feral cats.
My spending this month has been nothing.Covered by wombles and £4 found in trolleys.
My wombles this month so far have been the lowest ever but I still have a lot to use.I should use them to buy cashback items but to be honest I can't persuade myself to buy things like Richmond sausages even if I used wombles to pay for them.0
