I have to admit, I normally get up around 6:45 to get on with what needs doing in the morning, then drag OH out of bed at around 7:45 to get ready for the working day.
The annoying thing is OH thinks nothing of arranging jobs for 09:00 when I am needed also because it means he needs to get up at 07:30 (he is not an early riser) but it means I have to get up at about 06:15 - 06:30 in order to get everything done before we go, he can't understand why I get up an hour before him. Maybe I should get up after him during the week and he will then find out the amount of stuff that needs doing to keep the house running (not that they would get done, there would just be complaints that X is not done and Y needs doing):rotfl::rotfl:
OH has to drag me out of bed lol. He gets up and feeds the cows an other stuff. I get out and panic trying to do everything in the 20 mins I haveI have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammarMortgage pay off date 11/2028. Target 12/2020 :rotfl:

My son in law was due to have his other ear op today after the december one was cancelled after he had been at hospital for 4 hours waiting to go in. However at 4.50p.m. last night they called to cancel again. He has private health care with his job but wont go down that route as there is a £100.00 excess. He was brought up to be careful with money and worries about bills all the time even though DD is very thrifty and doesn't waste money or food. I did offer to give them £50.00 towards the excess so he could get it done but he said no. Its a colostomia which is basically a growth of skin cells in the ear but it can lead to deafness and sometimes grow into the brain. He had the other one last year and although he was in pain for 2 weeks after it healed up well. This one is the more complicated one so needs doing. Am I just worrying when its not my worry?
If he is paying tax on having the benefit in kind of private medical insurance through his work, it makes no sense to keep the cover but never use it to avoid paying for the excess.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I tried to return a costa coffee set (glasses and cups and some coffee and syrup) to Debenhams with a gift receipt. They refused saying it was food and couldn't be refunded. But most of the gift isn't food and the donor clearly meant for it to be returned as they enclosed the gift receipt. The girl said there was a sign up saying food can't be taken back and the till will issue a gift receipt for anything requested.
Any ideas? £31.50 value, that could be better spent.
Tried again today, armed with a print out from the Debs website that said only alcohol couldn't be returned, not general food items. Went to a different till and was given a refund without a problem. :jI'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
