I have been trying to find the twine discount code board as I was thinking of placing an order, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Neither could I find any. Even the old faithful free delivery code is no longer working for me for an extra £6 off. :(

My son in law was due to have his other ear op today after the december one was cancelled after he had been at hospital for 4 hours waiting to go in. However at 4.50p.m. last night they called to cancel again. He has private health care with his job but wont go down that route as there is a £100.00 excess. He was brought up to be careful with money and worries about bills all the time even though DD is very thrifty and doesn't waste money or food. I did offer to give them £50.00 towards the excess so he could get it done but he said no. Its a colostomia which is basically a growth of skin cells in the ear but it can lead to deafness and sometimes grow into the brain. He had the other one last year and although he was in pain for 2 weeks after it healed up well. This one is the more complicated one so needs doing. Am I just worrying when its not my worry?

Rose ...its always a very difficult situation when operations are cancelled, and its natural that you should be anxious for your family.
The fact that the op has now been cancelled twice should mean that it will be done soon on the NHS....at this stage if your SIL has not yet claimed on the health insurance it is likely to take almost as long to do the operation as waiting for the next NHS slot.

I'm not against private health care or paying and have in the past used it to gain a small advantage over waiting lists....but in a lot of cases you are still likely to be seen by the same consultants who operate via the health service any way.

How long has you SIL been told he should wait for the next operation, this needs to be weighed up against how long it will take to sort the claim through the private route...I am sure he will not be put at risk of the condition deteriorating to a dangerous level before the NHS operation goes ahead.

    Thanks.
Will have to give it a miss then as £96 to get free delivery is too much.

I thought I had read someone paying £42 per case?

    Why?

if the purchase is declined can you not query the reason..T always seem to pay out for me no problem.I don't think I have had any declined from them

He was due to have the op early December and when it was cancelled they offered him 20.12.16 and said he could take that or wait till early January which he chose. I think they will probably get him in asap so maybe best to wait. Just wants to get it over with now. So think maybe you are right he should just wait now. I understand the NHS is under pressure and he was kind of expecting this to happen anyway.

My Ocado first delivery £6 offer was declined.
I raised a claim and queried it numerous times.
So tbh I find it unreliable.
Other retailers have also been refused in the past as well.
