Wow :T
And I thought I got a bargain for 94p.
They had about 20 yesterday, I got 6 couple are promised to others. The ports are just the right size to take over the caravan for a summers evening.
Think we will end up making stilton soup though as don't know if you remember but I got 2 half moons from Sainsbobs too.

Mr TS is laughing his head off at the Red bull soapbox challenge on Dave.
I do wonder about him sometimes.

afternoon all.
OH was snoring fit to wake the dead last night so I retreated to the sofa which has the advantage of a warm fire and 2 black cats for company - the minus side is that you can still hear him through the floor boards
Then he has the cheek to ask when did you get up - 3 o'clock is when I gave up all hope of ever getting any sleep and got up ...
So I started looking at pj sets and I thought I'd found the perfect set on Asda George so we went and had a look this afternoon and the material was vile, the nasty stretchy cotton sort.
I had a look instead in marks and found a set which was more suitable but Marks are difficult with sale returns. It was a funny brown leaf pattern, a bit autumnal but I thought if I ordered it online than at least there would be less issues with returns. I thought I would see if I could find it online on the sale pages instead and needless to say its not listed.
Eldest child says she wants pjs with long trousers for the morning of the wedding so she can get her hair done and make up in her pjs. So I've been trying to find her a set with a matching dressing gown - something silky and elegant rather than the winter brushed cotton versions.
I am near a much bigger Marks and Debenhams so if anyone sees anything that might be suitable any pics or clues would be useful
Its her birthday in 2 weeks and we are seeing her in Feb but I think I have set myself an impossible deadline again - Ive know about this special request since boxing day but forgot all about it until 3 this morning ...
Good evening everyone
Debenhams have a nice 3pc set in the bridal wear section online for £38
Also the little love birds has some nice gowns and pjs0 -
DM might be worth looking out for these if you go to Ts think they are frozen.

Long term lurker... New years resolution to post!!! Thank you for all the glitches, particularly the blankets this morning!!! Bobbed in to T's and got one. Christmas gifts including Yankee tumblers had all gone to 75% off this am. Not sure if national though.
Welcome Grems, and thanks for letting us know about the tumblers. Something to look out for. Keep joining in, you're more than welcome

Sorry - I got up early (ish) & walked :eek: well shuffled to Ts as I needed to get out
After 100 yards I did begin to regret my mission, as I had forgotten my thumb stick
Anyway I made it, got the cheap Felix Sensations jellies pouches (as featured on HKUD) £1 a box
Also Ts Port & Stilton for £1.25
No loo roll or kitchen roll
Bus back & prised off EMU boot
& rest the throbbing foot
Getting better
Aww Snap, I feel for you, I really do. I get that nasty G thing in a big toe and the pain is excruciating, you've got to be s sufferer to know how bad it hurts, my legs swell too although just now they are OK thankfully. They just ache so much in the joints at the moment and my feet feel as though I've been walking all day  I've barely been stood up
I get my freedom on Saturday, all being well tomorrow. No heavy lifting, no quick turns or sudden bending down. No chance :rotfl: I can't remember the last time I turned round quickly :rotfl:
Just look after yourself Snap, get well soon sweetheart xxThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
Hello all, went to T's and picked up the last 4pks of toilet rolls, used the ss and scanned at £2.23 BUT when I went to the till it came up as £4.45:eek:
Got another scanner out to show them the scanned price and took it to customer services and got a very reluctant refund after a lot of faffing about. Supervisor took a photo of the barcode - first time I've seen them do that.0 -
