I found this pack this afternoon, cider with cheese, still £2.50, and best before 04/01  Would have bought it, had it been under a quid.

That's what I was hoping for yesterday izzey, as knew they had 4th on I bought one on the 2nd for a fiver for a treat. :o Seeing as the port was rtc in my store yesterday reckon the cider might have been the day before and I missed out. Lovely cider though Westons, I would have snapped it up for £2.50.

I've seen it once before, I think it was a couple of years ago when the chocolate oranges were going through at 1p. They scanned at 1p with the hand scanner, so I picked up about 10, then they went through on the tills at £2.50 each, so I had to pretend I'd forgotten something so I could hastily put them back on the shelf!!!:eek::eek:

Good job it was only 10, oh the embarrassment for you though. You gotta be quick thinking in this game don't you :rotfl: the number of times I've left my purse  and all because we've never had hand scanners in my local

Hello bubbs, yes I will behave. I have accepted the fact that I can't be as active as I used to be.

I think the last 2 years have been the most awful for me, healthwise that us. It's just over a year now that I was diagnosed with COPD and this cold damp weather is no good for that either. I think I'll be a hedgehog or a hamster and hibernate  :rotfl: :rotfl:

So you move out tomorrow, big day for you and busy no doubt. I was going to say It must feel like a big holiday to you really , but of course you have to work :o :rotfl:

I've never seen that happen before  Anyone else seeing this ?
You'd think the same barcode would scan on scanner and tills at the same price

Oh didnt know you had COPD too:( my neighbour across the way has that
Yes still work, but no cooking as such, no housework:T:T (only work)
Actually not too busy as no work tomorrow so will sort some in the morning then we can come back sat and sun so will do the rest then:D

  • Hi, I've not visited this thread for a long time. I've had look on the grabbit thread and it's so quiet! It used to be buzzing with bargains, what's happened? Are there any other bargain, grabbit type sites that I'm missing out on? I know of hukd but are there any others that anyone can recommend please? Thank you. X x

    afternoon all.

OH was snoring fit to wake the dead last night so I retreated to the sofa which has the advantage of a warm fire and 2 black cats for company - the minus side is that you can still hear him through the floor boards
Then he has the cheek to ask when did you get up - 3 o'clock is when I gave up all hope of ever getting any sleep and got up ...

So I started looking at pj sets and I thought I'd found the perfect set on Asda George so we went and had a look this afternoon and the material was vile, the nasty stretchy cotton sort.
I had a look instead in marks and found a set which was more suitable but Marks are difficult with sale returns. It was a funny brown leaf pattern, a bit autumnal but I thought if I ordered it online than at least there would be less issues with returns. I thought I would see if I could find it online on the sale pages instead and needless to say its not listed.

Eldest child says she wants pjs with long trousers for the morning of the wedding so she can get her hair done and make up in her pjs. So I've been trying to find her a set with a matching dressing gown - something silky and elegant rather than the winter brushed cotton versions.

I am near a much bigger Marks and Debenhams so if anyone sees anything that might be suitable any pics or clues would be useful

Its her birthday in 2 weeks and we are seeing her in Feb but I think I have set myself an impossible deadline again - Ive know about this special request since boxing day but forgot all about it until 3 this morning ...

Sounds like a moment to splash out at Victorias secrets. Posh pjs to start the big day off well.
