Just wrapped up my sacks to send back to Saltrock. went to the email to get the order number and they have charged me p+p. My order was over £30 to qualify and something was out of stock taking it below £30. Is it worth complaining? Its £3.95.
    I would complain.
I ordered from superdrug and something was oos and they didn't charge me postage because I was under £10 so I think other companies should be the same
  • Just a quickie, not looked back yet,to say those k/rolls at MS are now 50p - and they were on 342 for the duration of my purchase this morning but sadly are no longer 342, just a straight 50p....

Sorry - I got up early (ish) & walked :eek: well shuffled to Ts as I needed to get out :)
After 100 yards I did begin to regret my mission, as I had forgotten my thumb stick :o
Anyway I made it, got the cheap Felix Sensations jellies pouches (as featured on HKUD) £1 a box :D
Also Ts Port & Stilton for £1.25 :)
No loo roll or kitchen roll :(

Bus back & prised off EMU boot :) & rest the throbbing foot :)

    Getting better :D

From the Tesco Metro, couple of packs of mars and one snickers left, 69p :j :j

    6 pack Cadbury's Snow cakes 25p.

And a nice little gift for someone's birthday, Premium Whisky Collection gift box with 4 miniatures, Jim Bean, Famous Grouse, Teacher's and the Black Grouse, no SEL, £3.25. Can't find a picture on line but bc ends 053004.

The McVitie's Nibbles (50p) have proved a fatal buy .... they are just too moreish :D

went to my 2 local T today- I has no xmas stock the other an extra still had overpriced selection boxes but no cheese selections, no rtc minitures and no mars/snickers even though they were the same bar code as someone had posted- never mind
but last night DH popped in a on the way home from work at 4.30 and they were reducing 4 pk of fresh cream scones (29p) profiteroles, eclairs and tubs of pate 19p he went to ss but the sa said go through a manned till and you will get free mince pies. He duly done as asked and also split the items into 4 shops for shopprize for the receipts (I have him well trained!!!) he was then given 4 packs of iced mince pies dated 21/01 and 4 rolls of wrapping paper the red one with ho ho ho on it for free.
This morning I got 3 more rolls of wrapping paper mince pies had all gone:)

    Good afternoon all....

Been a busy day today and as yet I have not stopped....
I have been to have a mooch round a few stores this afternoon and apart from Iceland came away with nothing of substance.

Iceland have the wok deal on so I did pick up 3 sauces the large 50% extra ones for £2 each and qualified for the wok...I now have a good stock of these and can see me being able to supply a new one each year for the duration of uni!
....quite a few christmas bits still in iceland too...but as I have no freezer space needed to walk by
Used some love2shop vouchers to pay so no spend either.

Deal of the week is ICBINButter 69p...
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

The Turkey Foil in M has gone back (now as an RTC) to its 50p price, assuming that this is the same one as the one that was available (but probably not generally available) during autumn last year. I had one store with that regularly showing 50p. Eventually it vanished:( and, some weeks later, it then started appearing, for me, in many stores with £1! No surprise as people leave it to before Christmas:eek: to buy this sort of product:huh::rotfl:. Turkey Foil is now on 50p RTC (though I've found in it in about one in seven of the stores I've visited and can't find it anymore it in the store in which it was apparently in before:rotfl:).

The Luminarc wine glasses at £1.50, I said they would be lucky to find, however I had a lot of stock of them in one store yesterday in the kitchen aisle. They appear in various places - aisle ends and RTC shelves in others but seem to be popular there:( - just SELs and no stock. They may be there if the SEL is incorrect, however I had lots of actual stock yesterday!

Of course the Sensations and Doritos are no longer on 4 for £3 and now seem to be making up for it (and perhaps paying for the offer) as they are straight £1.98:eek:, apart for the (lower weight) pack of Sensations Lime & Coriander Chutney which appears now to be straight £1 and to have lost the mbuy.
