Its already been 01/01/2017 in Samoa since 10 ocolock our time - this freeks me out :rotfl: - that they are in a different month, day and year than us
http://www.worldtimezone.com/newyear.html
New Years resolutions - don't really do them and it drives me mad that for the first 2 weeks in Jan every FB draw asks what your NYR are and I want to say something different and exciting but I cant think of anything ...
but having said that I do have some aims which are more like giving myself attainable challenges
Firstly more NSDs - I think they are the key to balancing the budget as it forces you not to spend just for leisure purposes, instead make use of what is already in your cupboards, fridge and freezer and use the time saved to cook from scratch.
2ndly - putting a bag into the food bank trolley each time we go into Mr T is going to be more of a challenge now that we don't have the lovely MOCs we have been using but it still must be possible to put at least a bagful in each month.
3rdly - Christmas shoe boxes - I took 10 full boxes to the donation point in November, my most number of boxes ever but I am aiming to collect enough to fill 6 boxes this year, a bit more of an attainable gaol.
4thly - the decluttering and downsizing is going to take a bit of a back seat for a few weeks, a few things had to be stored back under the stairs again before Christmas and I had to hide 2 boxes of extreme shame under the printer table as time just vanished but eventually I will start making progress again ...
They look like resolutions I could take on board mhoc. So glad your visitors were not too taxing.“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -
mhoc, I am really pleased that everything went well. Enjoy the peace x100

Just caught the last bit! So funny! So clever too! I bet the cast have to be really fit to do that every night. Poor stage crew, having to tidy the stage every performance. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Would you believe It! I got trouted on my last trip to T with the Hipps and the U&G! Never mind. it was good while it lasted, and I have donated lots to the food bank.
Got lots of nice food in W which is now a buffet. Will be going for our traditional NYE walk along the canal in a minute. Stop off for Hot chocolate then back to ours for NY.
Happy New Year dear Elite:T

It was dispatched on 20th hampy so couldn't do anything about it:o
I'm sure the big signs that W have up all over the place read

In A, Walkers Mixups are now 50p. I don't know which ones as my store just had an empty container and a piece of paper on which had been printed "Was £1.98 Now 50p". Of course they have had £1 r'backs:rotfl:. The Bacofoil Turkey Foil 600mmx 3m has also gone down a bit - to 75p - although I've seen Turkey Foil in the past elsewhere at 50p. Bacofoil Turkey Roasting Tray in A is £1.
There's also the following items, turning back to M, which I don't think I've mentioned yet: Wham Essentials Baking Tray 36cm and Wham Essentials Roaster 39cm each at £1 RTC. Good job I didn't mention them early in the week as I had only one of them so would now be having to cover my incompleteness up again:o:rotfl:.0 -
