Yes, I was just coming in to post this. So, they are now back at their normal 50p price that they are at almost throughout the year. The only time that they are higher is when they jump right up in price as soon as they become readily available in the few weeks up to Christmas. They may occasionally go on offers during that period, none of which are better than the 50p price and may go to £1 just after Christmas. Otherwise, the entire rest of the year they appear to be 50p!:rotfl:

"As far as I know", the Jacob's caddies are still £1:(. One of them - the Cheeselets - scanned at £1 mid-afternoon today. Of course I picked up the wrong carton in error and had to cancel - trust my luck for them to have different prices and other versions to be 50p. However, as far as I'm aware they're not: the only SELs I have are £1 for all versions or, indeed, I could have failed to scan a version that was 50p although I think not. You can however try them to see, as the price could change at any time. M seem to be changing prices every day. They could well go to 50p tomorrow:rotfl:.

There is more later - I've only just arrived back for the day and need to sort things out:cool:.

EDIT: Link now says 'deal no longer exists'. Which is rubbish - not only do I expect it now to last tomorrow and throughout almost the whole of next year, in case any box gets lost in the storeroom and brought out into the shop in July (I expect it will still be 50p!), but I can confirm seeing many boxes not much over an hour ago including some in a store that still had old £1 SELs:rotfl:! Can I have a bonus point for finding these items at about quarter to four this afternoon, although being unable to post until now? Indeed, as I suggested earlier, I had numerous stores throughout the earlier part of the day showing me £1 and only finally at store number 7() was it revealed that - at that stage most of them - I did not have all versions in the store - were 50p and then, later, another store added another version at 50p (SEL but no stock - instead had stock of another one but no SEL specific to it:rotfl: - of course the earlier store had already revealed that that one was 50p, together with a couple of stores in between still at £1 SELs:rotfl: - of no interest - they are 50p!:D).

    Evening Peeps,

Wandered off on a trip into town involving tea and cake at JL and a bargain Xmas tree with lights ...... £340 reduced to £50. (Our Xmas tree is 25 years old and looking a bit bald in places).

    Washing Gloop

    Ratios

1 bar soap ( 25p Tesco soap used as filler in T shop).
1 cup washing soda crystals ( filler item)
    2 litres water

I use a big catering saucepan to boil 8 litres water.

Grate 4 bars of soap and add to water when it has boiled. Switch off heat. Stir with a big whisk or wooden spoon. When soap has melted into the water add 4 cups soda crystals. Pour mixture into bucket and fill up with cold water to speed up cooling process. It will solidify into a blancmange consistency.

Add about 3 tablespoons directly into washing machine drum. If doing a white wash, add Vanish.

I used to make this as an exact scientific recipe, but it is more of an art. Depends on the make of soap. Sometimes I add a squirt of star drops to the bucket mix for extra boost.

This is a palaver but think of the money saved!!!!!:money:

And you use this as washing powder?

    It will save a fortune

My Waities still has all the Christmas stuff at 25% off rather than the 75% as has been reported elsewhere. However, today I spotted the Christmas cake kit selling for £1.85...the one with the glazed fruits on top....just add 3 eggs and butter to the kit ingredients. Dunno why I didn't get one, (or two)...hope they have some left tomorrow!

I have been to a T... nothing really reduced... fingers crossed for my visit to Waities tomorrow x
