    bubbs, rest that throat , keep yer gob shut! :rotfl: Seriously, sorry that you've done damage, have you tried yogurt, or honey. Honey has great healing powers, just have a teaspoon or two, let it slip down your throats and it should ease the pain and help to heal xx

    So, that looks like the Welsh one earlier and now the Scottish one. Unless the one originally spent in England has somehow got to Scotland:rotfl:.

    Do you know - I was in Leicester on Wednesday, as part of price collection, with the England note originally being used in Melton Mowbray and I was always intending to go to use a £10 note to buy some bread, in the hope of getting a fiver back, but :doh:forgot about it until I was already away on the one way system:( to the next store. I then intended to buy the bread in Derby (in case the note had travelled there - this is most unlikely - it'll probably turn up in some local corner shop or the Co-op and not in M at all:rotfl: - but just on the one in doubtless several millions chance...) but, again, I forgot:(. Once again, out of the store:rotfl:. So, I ended up buying the bread miles away from Leicestershire:( - however, we don't know where it might be! I have some five pound notes - I don't think they look like the right serial number but I will check every one of them, properly, before passing any on. I'd also forgotten to buy bread in Coalville earlier on:(:(:rotfl:. Hopeless, my mind just not on the buying of the bread! I have to write that down - otherwise I literally just check what I have written down and forget everything else!

    Evening all! Just had an online chat with T CS who (after a bit of cajoling) offered me a £10 voucher for the missing and damaged bottles and cans in the cases I got RTC yesterday. I'd much rather not have had the hassle of clearing up tiny shards of glass from my kitchen work surface, but at least DH is happy with cheap alcohol. Daft really, I get all the work and I don't even drink the stuff :rotfl:

    Has anyone got any exciting plans for tomorrow night? Not sure whether the shops are going to be shutting early or if there is a good chance of getting decent whoopsies. We don't normally do much but we've been invited to spend it with friends. They're doing the food so we'll take the games and the drinks, could be worse eh! :D

    Regarding the Waitrose magazine I get one everytime I shop. Also moc can be used by anyone so you an give them away. I have a couple so might go for Handwash and Kitchen towel tommorow. I made friends with one of the butchers there this year and he always has great meat bargains if I go in at right time. He even gave me a Xmas card ( one of 5 for his favorite customers. Just back from DD's where we had a buffet with all W party food. They were all 99p each yesterday and 4 for 3 kicked in. Was nice but I wouldnt pay £5.00 or £6.00 a pack.

    They don't seem to be checking five pound notes at the supermarkets but, what can they do? I suppose, if they did find the note, it would belong to the store (maybe that's why staff don't check?:think:) and they can't replace it with their own fiver out of their own pocket can they as that would be stealing a note worth far more than five pounds and replacing it with a different five pound note that's only worth a fiver? So this valuable £50,000 note could be passed easily through lots of places without anyone noticing. Then again, people generally don't check everything and fail to notice things, including the shop in which it was originally spent that unwittingly gave it away as change:doh:. But - if there is any person that will check every £5 note he ever now gets...:D Every £5 without exception:D:D:rotfl::p:rotfl::rotfl:.

    I still won't find the thing though:rotfl::rotfl:.
