If your in Sbobs look out for these, the kind lady had just filled the shelf with 32 boxes as I passed, straight into trolley 18p a box

They had these at 18p in my Sainsbobs too but the S/A was trying to remove them from the shelves for some reason....peeps were still grabbing them tho, (got 5 and gave one to the young homeless chap who sits outside..wished him a Happy New Year and got a lovely smile back!) They also had some bags of choccy things for 9p but could not get hold of any before they were removed. Dunno what that was all about......:o

If you achieve this we will change your name to 'Jesus' as you will be a flipping miracle worker! x

I think we will all be interested in your washing gloop recipe :T:T:T

    Evening Peeps,

Wandered off on a trip into town involving tea and cake at JL and a bargain Xmas tree with lights ...... £340 reduced to £50. (Our Xmas tree is 25 years old and looking a bit bald in places).

    Washing Gloop

    Ratios

1 bar soap ( 25p Tesco soap used as filler in T shop).
1 cup washing soda crystals ( filler item)
    2 litres water

I use a big catering saucepan to boil 8 litres water.

Grate 4 bars of soap and add to water when it has boiled. Switch off heat. Stir with a big whisk or wooden spoon. When soap has melted into the water add 4 cups soda crystals. Pour mixture into bucket and fill up with cold water to speed up cooling process. It will solidify into a blancmange consistency.

Add about 3 tablespoons directly into washing machine drum. If doing a white wash, add Vanish.

I used to make this as an exact scientific recipe, but it is more of an art. Depends on the make of soap. Sometimes I add a squirt of star drops to the bucket mix for extra boost.

This is a palaver but think of the money saved!!!!!:money:

Every time Nanny mentions her Kon Marie book I get mine out for a read. Have had a potter around today but really need to clear out cupboard under stairs as a few things got shoved in before xmas and it has been bothering me ever since. Need to take tree down to access so might take tree down tomorrow. Trouble is have such a beautiful tree this year. Still have naff Tesco one to return for a refund.

No sales for me. Only been out once and that was on Wednesday for essential food. All the reductions sound good but just reading about them is less calories. Would love a couple of the waities Christmas cake mixes though but not enough to take a trip out as waities not that near.

Will stick with the Kon Marie now where is the mse page?
