I am sure it will all be fine. My youngest is covered in moles, and has had several removed from his back and scalp which were cancerous but low risk (sorry I cannot remember the exact words they used). He rather likes his scars. He now closely monitors his moulds, he had photographs of them, and gets one of us to check them monthly.

I think I am actually nervous. I have a fear of marriage, and now there is one of my babies thinking about it, and her family are very strict and we do not understand the culture. Although I have read that the culture of the man takes precedence..... so if he was going to be rude he could just follow the English culture.... it will make things considerably easier... ooh especially as the brides father pays for the wedding!..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sorted then, your culture is to get em up the duff, and not get married ;) :rotfl:  :p

Wow, a crappy camcorder for under a tenner, I remember when this would have been a good few hundred quid.

And all depend on whether prices drop after update. Unlikely the offer showing on SELs in most stores so check what item scans through till at.

  • Oh they were, they had the best time ever, there are hundreds of photos (I only looked at a few but I could see the thumbnails of the rest )

Huskies, sledding, snow angels, Santa, sleigh rides, think they did everything possible.

The best bit for me was when I asked DGD what the real Santa was like, I told her that I'd never been able to see the real one, I'd only ever seen his deputies, the ones that you see helping out in this country.:)

She leaned forward and she said 'He's very quiet. And he's very very calm.'

The next best bit for me was finding out that they both liked flying, absolutely loved it, so the world's their oyster now. :D
We took 3 of our GC's (the other one is too young) at the beginning of December and had a great time too. Problem was the temperature, usually about -11 but -30 when we were there.
It was too cold for the little ones and there was a lot of waiting around so hands and feet were too cold. Did all the Husky/Reindeer/Skidoo rides etc but by the time we saw Santa, after a 25 minute Sleigh ride, the kids were too cold to fully appreciate meeting him. Several kids, not just our youngest two, were in tears so it took the shine off it a bit.
Had a great time though and would certainly do it again (not very :money: though!)
We taxied to the runway for the flight home, only to taxi back again due to frozen fuel on the aircraft. After several hours of waiting with very little information we went back into the tiny airport for another long wait. Eventually we were told we would be put up in a hotel for the night, we were taken to a brilliant log cabin in the woods - plenty of room for the 8 in our party - with Sauna, Log fire etc. Unfortunately we didn't fully appreciate it, arriving at 3am!
We got the 'Apprentice' type phone call at 10.30 am to say the bus would be picking us up in 10 minutes!
Back to the airport and an uneventful flight home, luckily on Sunday so no problems with missing work for any of us.
Followed the MSE procedure for compensation claim and it looks as if we may get back nearly what we paid!;)

Late night check in for me. I drove back from Tyneside this afternoon. Thick frost and fog there this morning and fog on way home, but not enough to affect (?) road conditions, though there was a lot of traffic

Got home at 7 pm, rushed to the loo for a wee (TMI?) then closed front blinds and put lights on. Turned round too quickly and my left foot skidded under me, so I ended up crashing onto the floor on both my knees - crash - ouch :o Tried AJ's tip of getting up backwards onto stool and then sofa but couldn't push myself up more than a few inches as arms so weak. Edged myself across floor towards window and got myself onto fluffy dog bed where I had no choice but to kneel (double ouch) and haul myself up using armchair. Cue two badly bruised and very sore knees and a very sore edge of foot that slid. Oh well, the bruise from my last fall was just about gone from my right knee so it is now replaced with a worse on, and I now have matching bruise on left knee :(

When I got home, I was so relaxed after spending time with my Big Sis and seeing my niece and her two girls who are growing up now, and I felt so happy. I guess I just forgot to watch what I am doing and take my time. So back down to earth, and reality, with a bump

I took painkillers after it happened but only now just considering going to bed as pain is easing - hope I can get some sleep

Night Night all, with special hugs to those that need them :grouphug:

Another frosty morning here, and like 76rosie, on my way to work.

Have a very good day, one & all.
