Bubbs you're not helping me get in the weight loss mood!:rotfl:

I am not into ice cream but it's TS's fault if I gain any weight. The 50p Waities shortbread will be my downfall. :o

... wonders out loud whether photos of stashes would also be required, as there is no way insurers would believe anyone would have that many washing tablets, dishwashers tabs, shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, C4rling ... etc.

Perhaps it should be insured separately under Collections :D.

Can you imagine the list 200 bottles of shampoo, 200 bottles of conditioner, 100 packs of cheap hair gel etc from the big A glitch, 100 bottles of shampoo and 300 candles from when they paid us to click and collect......:D:D:D

That's why I keep lots of receipts for my stashes to prove where I got them and that they exist, I still have the 4p socks ones reckon there is still nearly £100 worth in the plastic box at todays prices. Now would the insurance give me old for new price. :rotfl:

I had a neighbour who had his shed emptied by thieves... he had three lawnmowers - 2 that should have been thrown away and 1 useable one. He stated that he had told the insurers that he only had 3 as he had not been bothered to take them to the tip... he still got 3 new lawnmowers.. the worst thing was that he was too disorganised to sell the extra ones!
    Options List

    1) Buy an extra freezer:D

    2) Clear out any old stuff you know you will not use

    3) Friends and family freezers, probably not an option this time of year

    4) Take out any large items, defrost, cook and take off the bone for example legs of lamb or large joints of gammon, portion up and refreeze after cooking

    5) Re package and label frozen food for example fish fingers/burgers

Can anyone else add to the list please

I am liking your list x

Does anyone know Boots Christmas returns policy?
I would like to return something bought online but it was the end of October.
Could I just say it was an xmas present or is it too late?

Hectic day today. This morning took mum for her monthly blood test as per usual ready for her monthly injection this Friday. Then got phone call from her oncologist. He wanted to see us in the afternoon as they had the results for mums CT scan that she had just before Christmas. So blood test was at 12 and oncologist appointment at 3, so what to do inbetween. Ah good old T's for lunch lol. Tried to get 12 hipps with 12 vouchers as per usual but as there is a offer on for 5 hipps for £4 the till would only accept 4 vouchers. Got 20 up n go's though :)
So after T's off the the other hospital for Oncologist appointment. When we got there they said Oncologist had got called out so would be about 75 minutes late.
Oncologist told mum that her breast cancer and the secondary cancer of bone cancer was very well controlled and infact the results had improved over the past few month. So the treatment of the injection each month is doing its job.
However they suspect she has new primary cancer in her ovaries :( So want her to have an MRI scan asap to clarify. Should get that for next week.
Following that another blood test. Poor mum is knackered. She may sleep well tonight
Hoping for good news for your mum, thinking of you x

    Thanks, tweets. :A

The lovely people on this forum, never fail to amaze me.

I am sitting here, feeling sad, as it is the anniversary of my Mum's death. Up pops tweets with a thought for me. :A Made me smile, thanks.

A few weeks ago, my son was diagnosed with three cancerous moles. A couple of :A:A on here, bubbs and queenie were there for me. :D Luckily he was fast tracked and his three moles were downgraded to one of 80% cancerous. He is now waiting to have them removed and treated but it looks quite positive. :) Fingers and everything else crossed.

Last week, my last remaining aunt was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and due to her age, will not be with us much longer. The next morning when I logged on, Snap-ant posted about a pair of Birkenstocks that she knew that I was after, at an MSE price. :A The same morning, I had an absolutely lovely pm from Ladyshopper that really lifted me. :A

The friendship and support of people on here is amazing.
    Thank you.

    Awww have a :kisses2:
I am glad ds's news seems more positive , thinking of you x
So sorry about your dear aunt (((hugs)))
Glad you have heard from LS :D
Thankyou for being you too xx
