Good post, reflects the view of many parents on the big day. Wait until they are all grown up..... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Bl**dy kids, they can be selfish at time but he had not cut himself off totally, and still loves you all. x

thats exactly the right word - selfish and self obsessed and self absorbed.
no I dont think he loves us at all

I have just popped into Sainsbobs, but not a lot left. They were still marking prices down on some things. Did see turkeys around £7.50.

The McVitie's blue box was £2.50 and the Fox's red tin £2.50, and the cadbury's covered choc biscuits £2.50.

Sainsbobs chocolate yule log £2.00 (reduced from £3.00).

Small scottie shortbread tin £2.00 (all the tins were damaged). Some of the cadbury's cake boxes on end of aisle were half price. The Sainsbobs own chocolate covered biscuits were £1.75.

I can't imagine how hard this must be for you mhoc:o I think I would have to put it all to the back of my mind and just try to get on with my life:o
    o:A

that is exactly what I have been doing, getting on with my own life and making ourselves the number one priority has been my focus now has been my agenda for the last 4 months - quite tough going but we are making good progress.
I started with a good shake down of the house, downsizing, decluttering, rethinking the usage and usefullness of everything etc ...

i have grown a rhino thick skin - not cried one single tear this week, my Dad who we lost 3 years ago is often in my thoughts but I am out the other side of the grieving process now so I dont have to resort to attacking the compost bin :)
