Today was not a good day. I decided to go horse riding, something I haven't done in many years. It turned out to be a big mistake!
I got on the horse and started out slowly, but then we went a little faster; before I knew it, we were going as fast as the horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off, but caught my foot in the stirrup with the horse dragging me. It wouldn't stop.
Thank goodness the manager at Toys-R-Us came out and unplugged the machine. But he had the nerve to take the rest of my change so I wouldn't attempt to ride the Elephant.
How many of you actually read all that I wrote? I certainly did when I first saw it:o Been round before but it caught me again!

one year we were away in December, didnt get back to the Uk until the 21st so we had 4 days to sort Christmas -presents wrapped, turkey and freezer full before we set off so it was just the tree and decorations and vegetables and last minite bits to do...It all went like clockwork, i think we need to do this again
6 degrees outside so not keen to get up ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Good morning all, cloudy out there. I really have to get on with some cleaning today. Had a message from DD yesterday, they are going to come a day earlier than had been arranged so have to move the schedule up. Her old room (and the other spare room) is a storage room, a lot of it is theirs but a lot of it is our too, think I am going to put it all in the other spare room and close the door :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Morning all
DH has woken up with a sore throat again, so no doubt one of us will be unwell over Christmas and the other one over New Year0 -
Another £10 blippar. :j:j:j
And the flight to Lapland left more or less on time :j:j:j
Sometime today I'll visit DD's house to feed animals, vacuum through and tidy, put their bin out, and go again tomorrow to take delivery of the Xmas food shop.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
