Back from Mr T's who didn't have any balls of Edam.....but he did have two halves. I got the cheese counter guy to put the two (already weighed/priced) halves into a bag and weigh & sticker the bag. I didn't go as far as asking him to also add a small wedge to bump up the weight/price but no reason why not I guess.

I'm sure he thought I was a bit odd. I guess he's right. 5 up & go, 4 hipps, a £15 amazon card, 10p sweets and an £8 off £40. Just over £12.50 of edam. Thanks for the tip off.

why 4 Hipps - I usually buy in sets of 6 (4 flavours)

No soup or OS either? Better than buying 10p sweets :D

    I usually do
    6 Hipp (4 flavours)
    8 c&b tomato soup
    5 U&g
    6 OS sparkling water
there are also 2 non matching OS carton juices for 67p and the dried cranberries are a good comaprison
