  • Evening luvlies, still catching up but can't see any mention of Sainsbobs sale. I'm not sure when they dropped their prices, I've a feeling it was this morning as the shelves were pretty full. All their Christmas stock had been reduced. I've had my eye on this beautiful wooden stag for a few weeks. The original price was £30, last time I checked it had been reduced to £22.50. Today I paid £7.50 :D , I'm so pleased with it. The smaller versions are £2.50, they also have stag bookends, table arrangements, candle holders, lights etc, anyway the stock is over 50% off and worth a look if you're passing.

The rails and rails of clothes they had too, up to 70% off. Packs of boys school polo shirts down to 50p. Loads of bargains in my store :)

  • Well can you just believe it...First we have an outbreak of bird flu and now its gone to the pigs....

Flaming Swine flu.....Luckily its not fresh pork that is affected...

If you receive an email from the Department of Health telling you not to eat pork packed in a can
because of swine flu - ignore it.

I have peeled T spouts for dinner/tea tonight I didn't end up with many as they were either eaten by some thing else or infested with strange black pests of some description, the ones eaten by us were ok though :p

And did you see the cauliflowers... small, brown and scabby.

Thank god the lovely ones in A compared!!

I also got potatoes from Aldi/Lidl (I do get confused by these shops) and they made lovely roast potatoes, I also got sprouts from A or L.... lovely!

    Interesting thought.

I actually still have the right 4 cans in the bottom of the fridge so I can scan the right barcodes.

Then I am wondering what would happen if I scan the wrong receipt, this would be rejected but by then I would have been to mr T to get the right receipt so I can then scan that ...

A devious and cunning plan is formulated :rotfl:

My devious plan is foiled - Ive only got 3 of the 4 versions - mind you three is still better than none ...
