Since when did "till" become wrong? I got that anyway, straight away - and, unfortunately, I've looked at it a second time and now fitted "the F word" into the exclamations. Not "the F word" but, you know, the real word (and now you're all thinking that as well:rotfl:). Would never have happened if "distilled" had simply been written. Dis-you-know-what (past tense) - I think that's invented a new word:rotfl:. Must remember to say that, of myself at home - I am dis... [...]
Anyway...:rotfl:
I was just posting to say that the receipt wasn't too bad, as I still got around £2.50 (should have been nearer £3:(!). Of course I visited Aldi today and stocked up on many of (that is "the most of them that we will use") the 19p items - I really overpaid on the potatoes at M the other week:(:( - should be under £1.19 on Aldi prices! - fresh veg. will always seem overpriced in the future whenever it goes back above 19p:rotfl: - the key was to stock up with more than we will need, as I always otherwise underestimate on this sort of thing and not buy nearly enough! It was good anyway as I got the whole lot home and stocked up the fridge and it is full now - I could not have got a pack more into the fridge so (I wasn't really thinking too much about it!) I bought as much as I can get into the fridge.

There wasn't any Edam on the deli just pre wrapped in the cheese section. I will try Sainsbobs tomorrow as they have a cheese deli. Thank you for the tip though, I will ask at the counter when in a bigger shop:)0 -

Just keep the veg somewhere that is cool, out of the plastic it will keep ages
Which is precisely my thought - I even bought another bag of potatoes (although potatoes do not qualify as "veg". (unless we are trying to get Mr T to accept coupons:rotfl:)) - the expensive reduced ones I already bought will last for ages beyond that. The rest also will keep well - I have bought as much veg. as I can fit into the fridge. I bought four broccolis:rotfl:, having had experience in this area before, as to what lasted enough to use, from the M £5 veg. coupons before. Even if it turned out I had bought too much and we didn't end up using one of the packs, that's only 19p lost. As opposed to the 20p already lost from mistakenly buying two bags of 'expensive' carrots from Lidl earlier in the week:(:rotfl:.
EDIT: I could make it look quite rude - two bags of 'expensive' carrots from !!!! earlier in the week.:D:rotfl:
:rotfl:
EDIT 2: They are 29p a bag at the unmentionable place but I don't want to be having from there whilst Aldi is 19p a bag. I also needed some milk - and the 6 pint milk had gone up to £1.35 in Aldi:(. However, I didn't buy it there until I was sure what the price at Lidl was (on the direct route back anyway). I got to Lidl and- so cynical! - £1.35:p. However, the benefit was I got two days extra date on the ones in the L-word shop.
:oSomeone will tell me that Farmfoods are now cheaper. However, I'm not too fussed at present as it would cost more than the saving to travel there. I know that now means Avs M now works out cheaper than Aldi/Lidl, but only if the APG is used and only if it compares against M at £1.45. However, it would require at least seven extra items which, as I don't need anything else, would really lose all and more of the... 4.5p:( saving.0
