iPad Mini 4 on offer in Staples 30% off instore only - £223.30 for 16gb, £279.30 for 64gb. Thanks to abfmdf on hukd, variable stock levels but national. I "may" now have another item off the Christmas list (good job really as one week to go!).

Worth noting if they only have items on display I understand they will knock 10% off.

They have a lot of discounted stock as they have been taken over by Henco (something like that - the company that rescued HMV). They are changing stock/range and renaming stores in the new year, so will no longer be Staples instore but will remain Staples online as separate businesses.

    Hi everyone!
Still here, but rl is so busy I'm struggling to keep up. Has anyone seen the Asda Xmas nappies in store? Our local store is tiny and has never had them. Unavailable online. Wondering if it's worth a trek further afield. The nappy stash is running low.

Since when did "till" become wrong? I got that anyway, straight away - and, unfortunately, I've looked at it a second time and now fitted "the F word" into the exclamations. Not "the F word" but, you know, the real word (and now you're all thinking that as well:rotfl:). Would never have happened if "distilled" had simply been written. Dis-you-know-what (past tense) - I think that's invented a new word:rotfl:. Must remember to say that, of myself at home - I am dis... [...]

    Anyway...:rotfl:

I was just posting to say that the receipt wasn't too bad, as I still got around £2.50 (should have been nearer £3:(!). Of course I visited Aldi today and stocked up on many of (that is "the most of them that we will use") the 19p items - I really overpaid on the potatoes at M the other week:(:( - should be under £1.19 on Aldi prices! - fresh veg. will always seem overpriced in the future whenever it goes back above 19p:rotfl: - the key was to stock up with more than we will need, as I always otherwise underestimate on this sort of thing and not buy nearly enough! It was good anyway as I got the whole lot home and stocked up the fridge and it is full now - I could not have got a pack more into the fridge so (I wasn't really thinking too much about it!) I bought as much as I can get into the fridge.

EDIT: :eek:It's even worse on those four complete exclamations - I am now fitting more and more swearwords into them - each time I go back and re-see it, it's a different one - far beyond one that was never used, or meant, in the first place - must stop now:rotfl::rotfl:. However, it doesn't matter as the word "swearword" itself brings at least one such word to mind:D so, if it really was 'offensive', we would all be offended now:cool::rotfl:. (There is no way of referring without referring... but you weren't even referring and still managed to:rotfl:.)

Good evening ..not sure what is going on with the Edam ...but am not a lover of it ;)sowill pass on this one ..just spent 3 hours visiting an old Auntie she is my Mums sister..took her round wine mincepies and a nice Christmas cactus as she always manages to kill the usual Pointsettia in a couple of days..It was rather a funny visit as her hearing aids are not working efficiently and the dog has chewed her top set of false teeth:eek::eek: but she was so pleased to see me bless her ..:AI have a hoarse voice through shouting and had to try and lipread ;)
