Superdrug this morning to get all 3 C&G baby foods for food bank donation. I hadn't read anything of choosing one of the offers. They aren't set up like that on my CoS and the terms don't mention it either so fingers crossed. Carted the heavy bags down to Santander to donate a few small toys and they rewarded me with gold coins. Sadly (or not) they're chocolate :).

Went to a patisserie / coffee shop earlier for a nice lunch & some bread. Just over £10 taken and then they say they don't take amex....by order of head office (a small chain). Too late by then - the machine was happy.

Came home to find a shop small success email so an odd one. Blipped for a £10 win too.

Hope that you have enjoyed your 'socializing', nanny and had a few brandies on the way to ward off the cold. ;)

Sausage rolls just made, 13 dozen and 2 dozen veggie ones. Only just got them in the freezer. Will have to try and 'borrow' freezer space from DD2 tomorrow to accommodate about 8 dozen mince pies that I will be making in the morning.

    :)

So 'we' didn't go to next town :(

And I did the walk I did on Wednesday to take the darn library books back, so went to Lidl, they have Christmas loo roll in 10 rolls £2.99.
Then dropped library books off :j:j
Took Christmas toys to Salvation Army for their Christmas presents campaign.
SD was heaving, spotted brollies but no butterflies ones, but there was one odd one with photos of cats & dogs on it... will investigate on a quieter day ;)
Spar is still selling 18 rolls of Velvet for £5 :)
Bought 2 locally made cakes RTC to 30p :D
and home with my mountain of loo roll :o:o

Just watched 2 episodes of Six Wives. Brilliant - we have only reached the death of Jane Seymour & only 1 episode left
So I presume they will cram the other 3 wives into 1 episode...
