Fortunately found a turkey crown in my freezer :) that I had forgotten about :o so am sorted for now and not leaving it to luck/chance with reductions (or shortages now!).

Do Sains. not have Dr. Oetker Cooks Dark Chocolate?

Other than that, I've been looking to see if M have any of the Yutaka products - I'm not aware they have these ones but I think it is more luck that M doesn't appear to have them more widely rather than T's 3 Ms being adequate. However, I wonder about the Zip Firelighters. I think M may have had these in the past - do M have Long Burn though rather than Original? - and, apart from that, I'm "sure" that M does have them - I think they won't be in even every bigger store but I think my nearest M is the place that has some Zip 30 Firelighters if I were to go and check, except that I'm not visiting my nearest M at all on Monday:rotfl:. Yes - I have next Monday already planned! (Technical reasons for not being able to get back in time from a store farther away from me, so I will end up checking some further stores around that same area.) I also have Monday 26th December planned, whether they have any APG or TBG collection or not, probably more so as a 'springboard' to Wednesday 28th (when I expect a lot of change have happened - got a lot of offers expiring on 27th December). The stores are only open until 5pm on 26th December - I will not be able to get my usual number of 6 checked but I have a cunning plan for three specially selected stores:D.

Alright, enough:rotfl: - I was just popping in (for a glitch check!) - and I think the M list update - the new items I still largely have yet to do - I will most likely start it sometime tonight, so it may be complete sometime overnight or during some other time tomorrow.

Not sure if already been mentioned but in SD if you spend £7 on Barry M you get a free gift of two glittery nail polishes. They're packaged up really nicely in a little house :) So freebie polishes for DD for Xmas and two nail polishes for her birthday next year........when she will be 20!!!!!!!!!
  • Freecyclers have been and collected! :j

Gave them a 90 minute slot and they collected in the first 10 minutes.:T

I'll just add their mince pies are really good and have won tasting awards, the chocolate liqueurs are as good as MS, the scampi is also good, the cooked sliced beef is excellent, and the flowers are great value and last well.

My DB's ex GF was German and he could never understand why people in this country used to sniff at Aldi, as over there she said they were held in very high regard especially at Christmas.

They're building a new one on one of my main daily routes, I'm looking forward to it opening.

We're getting one, but not till 2018!

:( not the turkey crown bit but the confirmed bird flu - means that defra will no doubt extend the restrictions past 6th January and my lovely girls will have to remain confined :(

But more :( for the farmer who is going to lose every bird on his farm :(

Can we all befriend you then chocaholics?

My DH is a self employed handyman and he charges a lot less than that!
We tease him as he seems to collect a lot of old ladies! (who all feed him and try to pay him more than he asks for). He also recognises that in lots of cases people often want to talk as much as have their little jobs done. I think he must be well thought of though as he receives a lot of his work through word of mouth and personal recommendations.

Just wondering when he wil get round to doing our odd jobs though.

Thanks pippo, that's a lovely offer. ;) Your DH sounds smashing
and is doing a great job for the oldies, they do love to take any opportunity for a chat bless em, yes, sometimes that's all they really want.x
