afternoon all - mixed results from mr !!!!!! today - the OS sparkling drinks have in my store gone from the shelves
Does anyone else smell a rat - OS MOCs in the magazine and no OS drinks on the shelves
    Also no U&G
So my list was collapsing around me - I was trying to get to £30 to use a conditional spend so I wanted 6 Hipps,8 soups, 6 OS bottles, 2 Brothers ciders (for COS and to use the Pdf MOCs, dried cranberries and OHs crisps so with those and the usual food bank bits I would just about have scrapped over the £30 level

so instead I just got the basics plus some food bank bits and bobs

Then at the till I thought I had chosen a till person with a nice face, no instead I had found a gorgon. She looked at my soup MOCs and whimpered "but it says just one per transaction"
I said don't worry I will just take them all to CS but she was not having that.
The girl on the next till said just scan them and see if they scan but she still was not having it, she whimpered "but it says just one per transaction" I said no problem I am going to CS anyway but she was still not having that.
So eventually a till supervisor came over and said just scan them and see if they scan but she was not having it, she whimpered "but it says just one per transaction"
So the TS scanned them, soup worked fine as usual and I showed her Hipp and OS and everything scanned just as normal

Haven't been on here in a while, hope its not posted already but Toffifee 400g Box (48 pieces) is BOGOF @ Tesco £4 .... or 3 for £10 @ Asda
    could this affect TBG/APG?

Yes, it would give you £3.06 (?) back on a £10 spend under normal circumstances (£6.66 for the two Toffifee, minus £4.00 T price, plus 40p 10% match) - find a trigger (is Coconut Lindor still working?) and it will give at least £4.40 back on a £10 spend.

So from my shop this afternoon 2 sorts of OS juice are stocked in Mr !!!!!! but not in sada so are ideal fillers to go in a comparison shop - use the 50p MOC and they only cost 17p each :j

Check the use by dates carefully, one of mine is may 17 and the other is August 17

My foodbank put out a request for fruit juice as they had none so its a good one to use up a bit of overage :)

mhoc, since the OS cranberry & raspberry squash, has been reduced from £1.99, to 99p, I've been using my coupon to get them for 49p. Could be another alternative for you to look at :)

Thankfully, my store still has mags in, so picking up a few magazines on each visit :)

They did not even have the squash version and not even a space any more for the sparkling
And the shelf space for OS fruit juice was minimal so even that looked very suss to me

The previous weeks I've been getting 6 at a time but I wish I'd been braver now and got sets of 12 at a time instead.

I did a 1Stop test shop last night as I couldn't resist - no email and no account credit just yet :(. Why did you buy 3 though? I bought Cheestrings for 2x£1 to make it to £10 - no point spending £12 as you are only getting £5 back, so your third pack of toilet rolls cost you £3 .

If it is definitely working, I have 5/6 1Stops round here and 6 Amex between us, so may have a considerable stash of toilet rolls and other items by the end of the weekend.

The challenge is not to be buying things just for the sake of it and check their "normal" price is not much higher than supermarket offers - as an example, these Andrex toilet rolls 12 packs at £4 work out great value, Pringles at £1.50 (so 75p after the discount) are not worth getting in bulk as you can get them for 90p after APG anyway. Buy wisely.

    Anon

Thanks Anon. I'm trying to lose weight so didn't want to buy Cheestrings or anything like that, and I did need loo rolls so this seemed my best bet. The freezer is so stuffed that I am not even looking at whoopsies and the fridge is very healthy too. I did think hard before getting three lots of loo rolls and had a quick look round but couldn't see anything else I wanted to buy. And £3 for 12 Andrex isn't that bad, is it?!

Maybe I'll look harder next time!!

    Good afternoon

Can I ask for the elite help

Has anyone seen boxes for marzipan sweets/fruits shapes Had a look in HB , B&M, Watt bros, Iceland, Morries and Sains but no joy
    :( Thanks

I want to know this as well. I expect someone will say Lidl - not easy for me to get to or something over priced in waitrose :(

Aldi used to have the marzipan logs with chocolate around them but I cant say I've seen them this year. Home Bargains had slightly smaller versions of flavoured ones, again gone. Home Bargains used to have the marzipan discs by anthon berg but again not this year
