I have a tech question please.

my new phone has 8gb of memory, I have 7 shopping type apps installed, but am struggling .

when any updates are required I have to delete something as there is no memory left,to allow these updates, what am I doing wrong please?

    any help welcome, tia.

How are people finding retailers please? I'm finding the list unhelpful and am clicking on the dots on the map, some of which are ignored when the map has 1, 2, 3 etc on it.

I find it works best if you dont put anything in the top box (business name)...and just put the town in the second box. That will produce a list, and you can scroll through them. This should give you maximum results

I'm not a massive expert, but 8gb flash memory is very low for a modern phone, your operating system is using some of it up before you even start on apps. Am assuming it's Android (unless it's an iphone 5c). Updates use up memory while installing, which you then get back once the update is installed, but you will constantly get the 'insufficient storage' message because they need extra room while updating.

    What you can do is:
    - if possible add a micro sd card, and use it to store all photos/videos and apps which can be moved
    - clear cache regularly, either using the phone's own cache-clearing functions or by installing a cache cleaner app and using it regularly
    - delete all unwanted photos from things like WhatsApp and keep deleting them as they come in
    - Look at storage on the phone, sort by 'size' and delete what you don't need

However, the main issue is that 8gb is not enough, you will probably always struggle I'm afraid

These aren't glitching, just thought I'd post for people on GF diet. My dad is coeliac and I can't remember the last time he had a beer - he can drink cider but DH bought him some of these to try over Crimbo. £6 a pack in T

For those of us with the £6 dessert orchard vouchers, the chocolate logs from the chiller are BOGOF £6 until 18th. Can't see anything else chilled on offer.

    Morning Everyone :)

Another challenge for the collective knowledge of the Elite :D:

Can anyone recommend a bra or strap kit for my DD when she wears a low backed dress please.

I didn't even know they existed till this week but the ones I've looked at seem to have mixed reviews.

I have some of those stick on cups, used them for a low backed dress and worked fine, I am a c cup.
