There was a big box of profiteroles and also a box of cheesecake slices Bogof in the T's I was in today, have to say though that the chocolate log looked the best value. The were all £6.
Thanks damo, I'm off there later I had only looked online so far and could only see the log. Will be good to get a mix and match for free.0 -
We had one if the choc logs last year, very tasty, not dry like some. Will they freeze TS. I was just thinking we'd use on Christmas Day but the other would have to be kept for New Years Day
. When we do it all again  :rotfl:
Yes I checked online and they say they are freezeable. So thought would get one now as offer only on until 18th. And no idea what sort of dates will be on them as they are fresh cream.
Good to see you up and about again AJ. :A0 -
Thank you anyway for taking the trouble looking, much appreciated xxThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Afternoon all! Does the voucher have to be spent on specific desserts, e.g. Chilled ones? I couldn't see any restrictions but I only skimmed over the Ts and CS. I'm assuming it has to be T own-brand, but I was planning on getting a normal Swiss roll type chocolate log and a small Christmas pudding, and then I was hoping to have around £3 to spend on profiteroles or a gateau from the freezer. I might just have to give it a go and hope for the best at the till, and argue my case if not!
I was intending to wait until this weekend to avoid the temptation, but I know the cheaper chocolate logs often run out and that would be unacceptable, a Christmas Day with no chocolate log!:eek::eek:
I've no idea what they will be accepted on but there is also a 342 offer on Finest stuff like xmas puddings etc.

Thanks TS. I might get DH to go up and get 2. I keep looking at the voucher wondering, cake or dessert :rotfl: :rotfl:
Today is my first day allowed down stairs sitting, not to wander around too much. I should have gone back to lay flat by now but am on my way,
Joints are calming down but hands and fingers are boogers, they are so hot and sting in the joints. Doesn't help I've written all my cards out now and made them worse
See you all later xxThere's no place like home

:o:o I have enough body butter to cover the complete Sumo team for the next 5 years
:rotfl::rotfl:
... Thinking about that there is no danger of it because because I am related to the aforementioned sumo wrestlers size-wise and don't 'jump' into bed or anywhere else!!
I do hope I don't receive anymore for Christmas :santa2:0 -
I'm not a massive expert, but 8gb flash memory is very low for a modern phone, your operating system is using some of it up before you even start on apps. Am assuming it's Android (unless it's an iphone 5c). Updates use up memory while installing, which you then get back once the update is installed, but you will constantly get the 'insufficient storage' message because they need extra room while updating.
What you can do is:
- if possible add a micro sd card, and use it to store all photos/videos and apps which can be moved
- clear cache regularly, either using the phone's own cache-clearing functions or by installing a cache cleaner app and using it regularly
- delete all unwanted photos from things like WhatsApp and keep deleting them as they come in
- Look at storage on the phone, sort by 'size' and delete what you don't need
However, the main issue is that 8gb is not enough, you will probably always struggle I'm afraid
buyitall,
thanks for your clear information.
I have looked and my memory card is only 1gb, so have ordered a 36gb.
when I have tried to transfer various apps before the option button is never available to transfer over, do apps transfer to micro sd or is it just the photos etc?curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -

Yes they do freeze. I had one in my freezer until the other week but left the door ajar. Tasted it and it was fine.0
