    Morning all. Wednesday today.

Thanks DM. If you could remind me what day it is every morning that would be a great help.:D

    Morning Elite.

Hope everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so. And to scamps if one is warranted through hangover!

Today was one of the days I was glad I had a non co operating OH. Yesterday I was trying to find a box to parcel up some Christmas gifts and nothing in the house was quite big enough.
Then I remembered I'd put into the recycling bin the huge cardboard box that came from Anazon with 98 sachets of whiskas in - this is a normal sized wheelie bin that I just use for cardboard, takes about 8 weeks to fill and I dont put it put for collection until it is rammed full.
The last time it was emptied was a month ago and the first thing that went in was the whiskas box but I didnt flatten it, kept it whole, for some odd reason I thought it might still be useful. This week the bin needed dancing on to get more in but Oh did not co operate, good thing he didnt.
So I turned the recycling bin upside down on the drive and retrieved the box from the bottom, still uncrushed and it was exactly the right size - 4 weeks ago Christmas was non existent in my head so it was very apt that this box survived.
So it was filled, then a minor struggle with collect+ website which does not like IE11 so it would not give me a payment page - why is that not stated anywhere - so I had to start again in Chrome and then nearly ended up with a duplicate order.
And then box was dropped off at the garage and its on its way.

So thats the wrapping all dealt with, sometime in the next 12 days Ive got to brace myself for the next torture, Christmas tree assembling and decorating ...

    Morning!

Well done re box. I keep some in the garage folded up.

Forgive me if everyone does know this, but we do know that if we unstick a box and turn it inside out we end up with a nice clean box for posting with no pictures on it?!

Good evening. I just had a quick catch up on the shop small thread. It seems there are stores not on the map that are paying out (and Ines on the map that are not). There is the odd mention of 1stop but I am not clear if they are in or not (seems the map is not exactly accurate!).

Has anyone had luck with 1stop please? Seems mixed results on hfp too.

Thanks Anon. I am waiting for Amex to come back to me and will then post. Where is the thread please? I've tried searching and can't find the one to which you refer.

How are people finding retailers please? I'm finding the list unhelpful and am clicking on the dots on the map, some of which are ignored when the map has 1, 2, 3 etc on it.

    Morning :)

    Happy 50th Scamps :bdaycake:

I had a complete pain trying to get £15 of clothes for the fuel voucher this morning. I gather there's some sort of sale on Christmas clothes, except it's not advertised and there's no prices on anything and it's one of those ones where not everything is reduced by the same amount. Plus they've obviously been busy so barely anything in dd's size. Ended up spending about £3.50 more than I wanted to in the end as the last thing I picked up wasn't reduced hey ho.

Sorry to come on here with a rant when I've not been around :o hope everyone's well

Too much to catch up. Been away at graduation for DS2, who starts his first proper job today. With a bit of luck, that will be both of them off the family payroll.
