I had an interesting encounter at Mr T yesterday. I remembered I had a couple of conditional spends if I spent £30.00 ( well one my my son in laws he gave me) so I popped in and got a few groceries and threated myself to a new iron ( mine is on its last legs). I left the store and went to my car and realised I hadnt picked up my receipt. I went back in and went to the young man on self service and asked if hed seen it. He was very cagey and said it had been thrown in the bin and then picked up the bin and I said well it was only 2 minutes ago must be on the top. So he shook the bin and said oh no all the screwed up ones fall to the bottom? Then he got on his head phones to call the supervisor and said something like " That lady has come back in for her receipt. you know that one ( meaning me) " which I thought odd and then he took the bin and walked across to the other till and made another call to her that I coudnt hear. He didnt make any attempt to look for the receipt and then the supervisor walked accross with the receipt and said she had put it in the bin at the other end of the store. She gave it to me and I said thanks but I have always had a problem with her since she removed some reduced goods from my disabled friends basket and I told her off.

Then her and him both turned away as if they didnt want to meet my gaze. I was really upset as it was obvious they had been discussing me but couldnt hang around as I had to go to a christingle service.

Should I complain or just leave it??

Can you buy gift cards for other retailers in Argos with the Argos vouchers?:)
    Good morning everyone.

TM - Yes you can buy other gift voucher with argos ones. You do not get the £5/£10 free if this deal is running. I do this every year from my survey ones.

I don't see what they had to gain from examining/ moving your receipt. That said, I don't know what you could complain about without drawing more attention to yourself.

    Morning luvlies

Thanks bubbs, orders 2 lots of the L'Oreal deal last night. I love this palette, I bought one for £5 from one of the cosmetics stalls at North Weald market a few months back. I noticed them in the airline mag too on the way out to Spain, think they were about £12, anyway I digress, they are great for taking away as you really only need this, a bit of bronzer and a mascara and you're done.

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, the free course I recently completed with Shaw Academy (to get my NUS card ;)) was in personal beauty. Only 8 lessons, but I learned heaps, so many new techniques I'm trying - loving my new brows :rotfl:

This all sounds a bit dodgy. Did you pay with cash or with a credit/debit card?

I am wondering if you did pay with cash if the SSS notices and also is watching that you don't collect your receipt then this receipt is collected, passed to someone else and then passed along again and someone gets a refund later from CS in another store ...

I did say I have a wild and vivid imagination ...
