That's very helpful if you assume one is a verb and one a noun, which is the most common use. I found this site clearer than the other one the OP quoted -- shorter, too! http://blog.dictionary.com/affect-or-effect/
Morning all! Yes, you're quite right, I was basing it on affect as a verb and effect as a noun. As TM mentioned, that's probably the most common usage, as I would say it's quite unusual to hear effect as a verb these days, and I think SSM meant affect in her original post. I always remember how, when I first started studying languages, it amazed me how much more sense English started to make :rotfl:
Right, that's enough Sunday morning grammar lessons from me, particularly as my new iPad keyboard is driving me up the wall since I updated it, adding random words and removing the ones I want! I also can't access the number and symbols keyboard sometimes, for no apparent reason. Tempted to see if I can switch back to the previous iOS...
Looking forward to seeing how the spare spare room will progress today, there are some big changes afoot
P.s. Savvy, I know you may not approve price-wise, but if anyone wants tasty pigs in blankets, I would recommend the frozen ones in lidl (I haven't seen any fresh ones there), every year they sell out really quickly and I always find them really nice and flavoursome, and the skins aren't too tough. They're £1.99 for a pack of 12 if I remember correctly.0 -

It's a beautiful day here. So very mild. I am going to do my best to be productive. I might need to investigate BabyBels;)
Roast beef lunch planned for tonight:)
I cannot find the babybels, its only my second attempt at the cash back thing can you check I'm on the right track pleaseTM. I'm going for a avm shop claiming back from cos
6x amstel
1x vanilla, 1x lemon, 1x strawberry muller bliss
1x Richmond perfect bake thick pork 8pk
Onion, cucumber, foil (thanks for the reminder), bin bags and a Christmas card for my mum from my dad.
So that's 10 items which compare favourably am I doing it right?
I was also interested in the goodness gracious baby puree but I cannot find another shop that stocks them, has anyone found a comparison to make them worthwhile? They are £1 each and you get £2 back she you buy 6.
I did get 9 jars of cow&gate baby food the other day completely free :j like bubbs said I cannot believe I haven't done this sooner, thanks bq for the encouragement :A0 -

Good Morning all
I had one of them days yesterday when one thing seems to have effected another.
First thing was I was shredding some papers and the pile that was in my left hand got caught up in the shredder and busted it.
Then I went to asda for the babybel.
Nobody on self service,so I thought good.Apgs went through no trouble..no receipt.
The paper had jammed so I had to get an sa to get the receipt.
So far so good until I got home and realised one of the packs I had bought was a 12 pack which mucked up the apg.
So I thought I would print some apg's and blow me down the paper got jammed.
I lifted up the top of the printer to release the paper and the little book with my apg emails fell down behind the cabinet that the printer was on
Funny how 3 things got jammed in one day
The cabinet was full of books and old records and cds so I had to empty it before I could retrieve my little book.
At this point the effect of this was I thought I better not go out for the rest of the day in case anything else went wrong:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I agree. Not a lot near me, bar takeaways and restaurants, though my normal hairdresser is on the list which is a real bonus.
My PO is not even showing as a pending transaction and I shopped there on Thursday!Keep Moving 2018 challenge.
