Just a final check now... msm savvy buys... to see if there is anything that I, or my stores, have missed...purpledonkey wrote: »When does one stop being a 'youngster' and do adult type things? :A
When you become like Savvy earlier in the evening.
EDIT: Check now done - nothing much that I don't know about and nothing really that I would have put onto the list had I known about it. (I notice the Cadbury's 360g chocolate bars - I think they have probably gone onto offer in M after Wednesday and will be identified instore by me next week:cool:.) The check has resulted in me moving a single item, that I notice has come into stock in A, from buy in M to Avs M. However I don't think it will work, and I have said as much on the list, as it's an old RTC item that I think will have cleared out of many stores and I haven't seen it instore for over six months (it's been kept on my list and online suggests that M do have it somewhere). I think it highly unlikely to be in a collection store, as it seems to me, in M, it's probably almost nowhere - will be in so few stores - and the APG already came back N/A on another item in the same range months ago. Nonetheless, it is on msm - for completeness (never achieved:rotfl:), I have moved it about on the list.
I am being good now:D - see you later:wave:.0 -

I always found the easiest way to remember was that a is before e so I/you/he/she/it/we/they all affect something and then that action causes an effect. If you need to put words like the, any, no, negative or positive before it then you're talking about the effect(s).
No idea if that's of any help at this time of night, but I was a language student so it's an area of interest for meSunshinemummy wrote: »Thank you for trying to explain this, but it really is something that I just cannot understand!
Wow, my use of the word affect has had quite an effect on the thread.:rotfl:I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.

Good morning!
Not in the example I quoted! And wasn't it used as a verb in the example which started this off? :think:0
