    :T:T Brilliant :rotfl::rotfl:

    Eric was dad's camel and we couldn't bear to get rid of him so he guards my patio doors from cats. He has such a wonderful face. He is joined by Ernie who is a hand made wooden reindeer whose back leg keeps falling off. My get glue gun out tomorrow as promised to mend him before Xmas. Last year just hung baubles from Ernie antlers but having a big tree this year. We are sadly missing Mildred the moose as she was culled when I moved. Really want a camel head to replace her to go in the corner of room with dad's Suez bits.

    Can I ask how to play for the just eat £5 off. Downloaded app but no comp there. Although don't think Amex small shop works going through just eat so might have to copy SSM idea. Practically all participants round here are takeaways and I have been on a takeaway ban for a good 6 months.

    Started my wrapping and third of the way through. Luckily Bear spent most of the day playing on Eric so no paws all over the wrapping paper today:rotfl::rotfl:

    Effect, as a verb, is to make something happen, eg to effect a cure. To affect something is to change it a bit, eg T reductions affect the amount of the APG.

    I think!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

    Affect is generally a verb and effect a noun :)

  • If you have an amex already, it only takes a moment to register the card. you will have lots of time to make use of it tonight. We are having an Indian take away tonight. I want to go to a few take-aways, get 2 curries from each and fill the freezer.

    Thanks SSM, i have registered my card and activated the small shop, he has registered the addidtional card in his name on his own AMEX record, but I cant see were to register his for the small shop?
    I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)
