Effect, as a verb, is to make something happen, eg to effect a cure. To affect something is to change it a bit, eg T reductions affect the amount of the APG.

Thanks DM , to be honest I don't think I will be eating it again although we have kept a sealed one just in case my dh took all my other bits off my Christmas table and gave it away :eek:

Never go to that town really. Infact apart from supermarkets, and boldon butchers, I dont do many shops, I can just never find the time.
