Well, that was worth the journey:rotfl:. I've ended up, so far, with wombles for about £2.30 and £3.60:).

The first one :(ought to be nearer £3 - there is confirmation that the Dove Ever Blossom Gift Set is comparing A £3 vs M £3 (and also against T at the same price) - however the Lynx Black Duo set at £3.25 has :(failed to pick up M. T is on £2.75 offer on the Lynx sets at the moment so it would be best against T, however the failure to compare against M has cost 55p on the APG. Add to that the two (:eek:yet again:rotfl:) cucumbers and, since M came out the best overall competitor, it's cut the APG amount again!

On the other womble, indeed, SP Fish Fingers are currently picking up M at 60p:):
    1x ASDA Smartprice 10 Fish Fingers (250G) £0.60 £0.60

I believe M is really 65p but I foresaw the probability (notice not just possibility) of the APG continuing still to have 60p. It seems, again, I know more than they do:rotfl:. (I didn't think it was merely possible that the APG would continue to have 60p, I thought it was probable.)

Unless we are still not on Wednesday, and it is now very late on Friday so we ought to be, the APG is incorrect (don't tell them!) as the Savers Fish Fingers in M on Wednesday were 65p. As predicted, I think a lot of Ms had not changed their SEL and this means that the price collection stores, overall, have 60p. I would not be surprised if all of their stores had 60p. If the system is indeed on Wednesday, as it should be by now, this will continue through until probably sometime on Tuesday. I think it will not last too long however as I can see many Ms having 65p on their SEL by Monday:(. Trust me, on Wednesday, to have no indication of any price change all day and then, finally, find my sixth and final store, at quarter to ten at night, showing 65p:(. What am I do to at that late stage? :rotfl:I did take the item for scanning and then pretended I'd picked up the wrong pack - and it was indeed 65p on Wednesday in M. Unless I have the only store that has 65p price:rotfl:.

M could put their product back to 60p by Monday as the price increase hasn't worked - in that it hasn't led to A, just yet, putting its price up:rotfl::rotfl:. As if it will cause a mass exodus of customers from M to A:rotfl:. (Perhaps A are unaware of the price increase in M if they get their data from the APG:rotfl:.)

The second voucher amount is against T rather than M. However, I have lost again:((:rotfl:) as SP Fish Fingers do not compare against T. T do have Eday Value Fish Fingers - I thought they were at 65p but I now see they have gone back down to 60p:eek: - M had better put its price back down:rotfl: - but for whatever reason the APG does not pick up the page on t.com:
    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=289820347

By the "" above, I mean that it has meant I've lost even more (few pence!) on the APG!

So, currently comparing against 60p M when M was 65p on price collection day and not comparing against T at all:p:rotfl:.

It would be better to buy some Young's Cod Fish Fingers in M at 50p, if anyone could ever find them at all - I suspect nigh-on impossible/as rare as hen's teeth.

On the value-range fish fingers, I now predict that T and A will bring M back down to 60p soon - unless A increases to 65p and then T follows suit. Btw - I may as well now mention - the M own label Cod Fish Cakes have gone down in price in M - however Iceland's pack at £1 (which went back up to that several months ago) is a lot higher weight/significant more number and 'always' works out better.
