I enjoy the luxury hot chocolate, have done so for the last 3 years...so hope they dont display a similar notice in my Dobbies.
Not sure how they can introduce this suddenly, particularly when it clearly states on their website that membership to Dobbies rewards entitles you to...
2 FREE hot drinks per month in our restaurants.
Will let you know what happens on my next visit :)

    Edit to add....Matty
have just checked the T&C's and it states
    23. Please note seasonal hot drinks, cold drinks and luxury/deluxe drinks are not included and would be charged at full price.
So it looks like we have been lucky in the past to get the luxury hot chocs....was good whilst it lasted!

I feel an email coming on but not quite sure how to word it. Need to think about this one! Wonder how the law stands on this one - any experts please?

I am answering my own question now. As far as I know, there is no glitch. The Young's Gastro Basa with Salt & Black Pepper scans at 2 for £7.50:eek:. I did not have the Lemon & Herb one in my store.

I suspected that there mustn't be anything on if people were ignoring me as everyone obviously already knew this was the case and knew better than me. To be fair, I don't think people are "ignoring" me - I think that the reason is that it's Friday night and most people are partaking of alcohol, rather than going out shopping, and not many people are here online. I would have joked that everyone was down at A (doing a glitch that currently isn't to be) and therefore that left no-one here to answer me, however that's not the case.

So, yet again, I find nothing:( - but now these fish have gone up in price, to the same individual price as some that are on 2 for £5, they maybe need keeping a watch on as they may look set to creep into the 2 for £5 offer.

Rose spotted that and corrected it, thanks, you really would have thought i had the gist by now:rotfl::rotfl:

I work with figures and love walking around working it out in my head. My store seems to do the final reductions ( except for fish counter, meat counter and deli ) at lunchtime and i went in today and cleaned up. I got over £65.00 worth of meals for £21.00 including 4 packs of chicken breasts, 3 pizza express pizzas, 2 ready meals and 3 packs jumbo prawns.
Now need to play freezer tetris!!

OH saw the small shops ad, and said .... that sounds wrong, they can't do that, £5 on a £10 spend.

I smile, and say sweetly, remember the take-away, the beef, the mince, the massive pack of sliced ham, the new photo-frame and the posh chocolates......

    OH says... wow.

The chocolate is from my trip to Birmingham. I was paying, when my colleague decides to get a posh set... so I have to explain to her how it works, and popped it on the other credit card saving her a £5.
