    Good evening paw sniffers:D

I've been MIA. I was responsible for organising a charity lunch today. It all went without a hitch but not without a headache.

Despite what it says on the menu some people will ask for variations.

Can I have it without tomatoes?
Can I have chips instead of sweet potatoes?
Can I pay you when I see you?
I'm going to be late can they serve it later?

And on and on....another raffle organised and more money raised.

    :T:T

Someone else can do it next year:rotfl:

:T:T:T well done TM, what are you fundraising for?

  • Oh yes, meant to say, I was quite impressed with an Amazon marketplace seller.

I ordered a USB memory stick on Wednesday evening, projected delivery before the 14th, it arrived today, and it was posted in Switzerland!!

Chicken Pie and Chicken Risotto should not work as M is £2.50 each on those. However, the Chilli should in my view have been matched as M does have it at £1.50 but T's system appears to be unable to me to comply with their own guarantee.

In short, stick to the four that work, unless anyone wants to complain to T about how they have paid more despite being told they'd "never" do so - I assume that, as this does not work by MOCs off but is CB claimed later, T will see that the full cash has been paid for them in the first place and therefore people have paid more than they would if they had shopped at M (if they shopped correctly, namely at least 10 different items and all brands cheaper/same price at M, in T).

I assume £2 T price and then BG deduction at the end. So that, with the CB, you have to pay for six different further items (unless you have MOCs that cover them completely) or pay for five different further items plus 50p that you 'should' not have paid to T:naughty: (for the Chilli Beef that M has 50p cheaper than they do). Can we have a big protest at the till/SS please - a refusal to pay the 50p as we will never pay more!:rotfl::rotfl: Good job I'm not doing it - I'd stay there and refuse point blank as loudly as possible to pay the 50p for as long as possible so that as many other customers as possible could hear me until they matched the prices of M or refused to do business with me and to sell me anything at all and then I'd complain that their guarantee was unavailable to me:o.
