Had a very good visit to W in Leeds today too

I waved as I whizzed past you btw.....you know I'm talking about YOU:D:D

I did 2 shops using conditional spends....mainly Fairy, Pepsi max and chicken. My first shop gave me a tillspit for £8 off wys £40.

I tried to use it on my second shop with my conditional spend but the till wouldn't accept it.

I intended for it to go into my recycling bin but can I find it? No:o:o

Think I must have dropped it in store.

I do however have £5 off wys £50 going into my recycling bin for Marksies week before Christmas

Also the L'occutane voucher from my free Telegraph as I will be nowhere near a store thus week.

Reached my second conditional spend with some good quality socks and a bottle of Chambord for £5.....cheapest anywhere at the moment:)

Just doing this myself but it is only giving me a £50 love2shop voucher

Are you doing both gas and electric, it is £50 for each one. It is a bit misleading when you read the T&C as the gas and electric have their own T&C, but def £100 on mine

Frozen medium turkey crown 2-2.3kg is £9.79 in Aldi - has anyone spotted cheaper or larger crowns for around this price please? This is the cheapest I have found so far.

    Many Thanks

Thx. I understood the f*ing. Must be a northern thing. :o

I'm good, thx. Just chilling after doing the M3 and M25 car park tonight. Why do people have to be rubberneckers and want to watch other peoples misfortune? It's beyond me.

Hope that you are ok after your day :A x

The conversations we have on this thread:rotfl:. You see, when you put it as "f*ing and j*ffing", I read [reed] that as "effing and jeffing", but when you wrote it as above, I read [red] it as "I understood the [and here I would say the actual word but the forum does not let me]":rotfl:. So, your post, which I came in on having not seen the earlier ones that I now have seen, is 'worse' than the original posts. Makes your post quite funny (to me) though:rotfl::rotfl:.

Incidentally, you may write "thx" but I read [reed] that as "thanks". I didn't read it as "I'm good, tee-aitch-ex". Just interesting as to how we (or maybe just myself) read [reed] things.

And apologies for constantly indicating the tense of "read" [reed/red] as it is sometimes unclear when in writing:rotfl:.

Sometimes I get confused and then re-read things. For example, one person on here, several months, was saying in effect that they needed to be told to get their butt out of bed. Unfortunately(?) they replaced a different word than "butt", a word that the forum does not let them use, with four asterisks and then, for at least half a minute, I thought that they were talking about something far worse - it seemed like they had soiled the bed:eek: and were asking to get that out of the bed. I thought "why would you want to get your [and then the word I got] out of bed?". I wondered why they would want to do that - then, after having gone via several more severe words, it finally , dawned on me that they meant the word that they did:rotfl:. So, I got it in the end, after it merely wasting my own time for over half a minute, with me puzzling and puzzling about what they meant, having originally read the four asterisks straight as the 'more severe' suggestion that it directly gave!:rotfl::rotfl:

When people use four asterisks or other symbols, it always makes me immediately think of the "worst" possible thing that it could have been, in the context of the surrounding words, and then if I realise moments later, having read [red] the rest of the sentence, that my word was incorrect, it simply has me stumbling and then repeating, in my mind, the original thing they meant, if that is then obvious and, if not, to then be considering, with words and words and words rethought about, what they meant and far beyond any one word that they might have originally used (or intended). Fortunate that I don't always find all these words offensive and that I've written makes me think of the "worst" possible thing it could be, using quotes for the word "worst" as, objectively, there is nothing worse, better, neutral, less severe, more severe, same level or not as any other word or not. So, objectively, it's not 'worse' at all as everything is totally neutral and nothing better or worse or the same on an objective level.

Maybe my mind is dirtier* than anything anyone could actually say to me. I think that's the 'problem' (or fortunate saving grace:D - Savvy....:naughty::naughty:! What?:o:rotfl:). I know I am naughty, and that's because I am deliberately and I like to be:D:D:rotfl::naughty::rotfl:.

It's psychological I think - the brain is always trying to make sense of the world around it and to work out what things mean and therefore it works to try to defeat and run counter to any "censorship". Which, really, if you know the original word and it's clear beyond doubt and specific - as it probably is, or seems to be, on at least 70% of occasions - as to what it is, which word it is, then it doesn't really amount to censorship at all.

(*Or cleaner since I don't accept that anything is "dirty", as that, again, has yet to be substantiated to my satisfaction.)
