I also went to the deli and got a lot of sliced ham.... to be told that they don't take Amex. As they had sliced it for me, I just could not say that I only had Amex on me.

Also been to a butchers, £10 of mince and £10 of stewing steak. The staff was fab.... I ended up in the shop for 20 minutes having a moan/laugh about OH cleaning and about the SA hubby.... we decided we are both on s*x strike!



He is related to my OH. He has draws and draws full of cr*p. He also had three shed..... when we eventually move he has to keep his things in the garage or he may be murdered in his sleep!

I've just got home from shopping, OH is f*ing and j*ffing under his breath...... he has taken half the bits and pieces off the book shelf. He announced that he had washed the wall behind (it is fitting so cannot be moved) and washed the 2 top shelves. He clearly thinks I am going to take over..........I think now it is a war of wills who can leave it the longest (I think I will win).

What is j*ffing? Sorry.

My mum used to live in a secure entry flat and there was a keysafe outside for one of her neighbours. On a couple of occasions I would visit my mum and I knew a carer was in the neighbours because the combination keysafe was hanging up outside...still open with the combination visible to anyone!

It would be easy for someone to follow a carer around their rounds and sneak up to each property when they are inside to record the keysafe number :eek:

eta: when my gran had a keysafe we made sure all the carers knew to bring it inside with them.

This does not make sense:p. You know - I don't think it was meant to be taken seriously:doh:. Just like everything - so, when can take people seriously over anything whatsoever and when can I not?:think::rotfl: It's not clear to me as, yet again, I was not provided with a comprehensive guide book for this planet that explained precisely when things were serious and when they were not, including all and every exception and every possible situation that could ever arise.

If this was meant to be taken seriously at all and was not an allegedly "obvious untruth", I'd now be asking them to substantiate their assertion that the ending of the offer was "due to Souper [that is super] demand", as claimed, at all. Meantime, I could not disagree with the assertion more so, if this was meant to put the ending of the offer across to me in a 'good' way, it has achieved the precise opposite and left me in complete disagreement with it!:D:rotfl:

Everything that comes out of, or fails to come out of, people's mouths now needs to be substantiated according to Savvy, else I do not believe it at all:rotfl::rotfl:.

I know of no demand that this offer should end, and find it extremely hard to imagine that there ever was any or to think of circumstances in which such demand would ever exist.

Does this mean that, if we now create "Souper demand", for the offer to be reinstated, that that will now happen?!? I think not! Perhaps demand would be deemed, by them, not to have been "Souper" demand, as that has to come from their own created assertion and not from us or the rest of the public at all?:rotfl:)

But the carers had not been going as he was n hospital for 3 or 4 months and his dad was at home till he was took ill then in hospital till he passed away, i was the last one to go in on the tues:eek: to collect the post to post on too his brother, but i always shut and move the numbers at this house and the other house i go too that has one

I'm good, thx. Just chilling after doing the M3 and M25 car park tonight. Why do people have to be rubberneckers and want to watch other peoples misfortune? It's beyond me.
