Anyway to change the subject we have beef casserole and sage dumplings in the oven followed by home grown organic rhubarb and ginger crumble
- yes check the calendar its July 4th and not December 4th :rotfl:
Did a freezer stock take this morning which is not a big job, we downsized to a freezer with drawers which turned out to had even less space than our previous one but as our numbers dismissed it did actually turn out to be the correct size for us 2
And now we are three again so it was a bit of a shock to realise how little is in the freezer now, I reckon about a weeks worth of meals - we rarely get yellow labels.
Errant son has a huge appetite so keeping him fed is going to be a challenge. He had Alpen cereal and 4 pancakes with golden syrup this morning followed by chicken salad and bacon sandwiches 2 hours later, hence the beef casserole in July“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

A question about sugar please, how much does a cube of sugar weigh in grammes?
Just been looking at mr !!!!!! online emporium and it now gives the ammount if sugar for each item in sugar cubes.
A cadburys fudge, a thin insignificant item has 4  but a nearly twice the size snickers has 5
A lemon swirl cheesecake has 24
Hobnob slices apparently gave none :T
But oddly mr !!!!!! own brand peas has 6 cubes - I am very confused, do they add sugar to peas in the freezing process?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
