I for one love reading your posts- the voice of reason- but have as long a coffee break as you wish, when you return there will be cake waiting for you...x

I realise that sometimes not everyone in a family wants you in their company.

but the green light is still on so I will still be very much part of the silent elite

Maybe people don't post so much nowadays because this thread can be soooo negative at times with doom and gloom and a lot of it comes from the same posters.

A few weeks ago the discussion was purely about death for about 2 weeks. It's hardly encouraging conversation at times or enticing people from outside who may wish to join in.

One of the things I like about the Elite is the depth and breath of the variety of topics that we cover each and every day

I can't remember having 2 weeks where the sole conversation was on death but I was off the planet for weeks in May so I probably missed it.

We probably do dwell a bit in our aches, pains and ailments but sadly that is a vast element of everyday life and there is no way of avoiding it - you can always skip over those bits, you don't have to read every posting every day.

Yes we would all love more glitchy shopping, MOCs, clearance items, cashback items and freebies but sadly the frequency and location of these items is sometimes few and far between - sometimes things are full on and then we are glad of a NSD and sometimes we can go entire weeks when not much happens ...
“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”
