please can I ask is anyone going to the Food Festival at Shugborough this coming weekend?
or has been in previous years and thinks it was a good day out?

Just wondering what day to go and how I can persuade OH that it is a good idea :D

I have extreme cabin fever which is getting worse and the cattery is full next weekend - also not sure yet if I would trust errant son in the house unsupervised on his own for 3 days with the cats :D

Not been to this mhoc, but we are considering the car show in August, thinking about booking in advance but always uncertain about the weather and if its worth it just to save £1 per ticket.

also next weekend is national Pina Cola day - I cant find a clean link but if you venture over to FB 10 ways it is there.

Yes there is one in Wrexham so the Wrexham gang don't have to go far

    - we even have a local one near me - you can imagine the conversation now "OH take me to pub? Why? To get a pina colada? you don't drink rum. Yes, I know that but I still need to go though because its free :D "

various places in Chester and Liverpool and probably all the more exotic places I cant get to this weekend because the cattery is full ...

    Good morning everyone.
My nephew was born a couple of hours ago by emergency Caesarean section, six weeks early weighing 3lbs bang on. Baby on NICU, mum doing well, dad isn't on cloud nine, he's on cloud ninety nine!

    :j:j Congratulations:j:j

Its the parking that worries me or rather OH going off the deep end getting on and off the car parks. Also not keen on the crowds but we would go very early anyway - we really love doing the food shows

we have been to the one at Tatton later in July a couple of times - its about the same sort of distance for us - again we have gone very early so we were going home as the worst of the crowds were arriving

Re the passport thing. Mum is Irish and Dad was Italian so I can potentially have both and my children can also have Irish ones!

Re LECJ'S post. I dont know who was PPrd but most of what she says is correct.

Back in 2007-8 I started a thread on MSE about the state of my life and can honestly say it was my sanctuary at the darkest hour. It gave me courage to take a step forward and 8 years later my life is so much better in many ways. I saved the whole thread as a doc and re read it the other day and it made my heart glad I found MSE.

The weather is a bit overcast here so I was going to strip the bed - like Enterprise & her towels but but glad I haven't today. Hoping you get your towels dry :D

Woken up with the foul Savages screaming abuse at each other, plus her Mother was backing her up (Tibby's ex owner) Mr Savage has to be gone by the time she returns today.....

    Awaits episode 2 :o

One of the best lounge access sites has posted the following:

    A2B logo
We are delighted to announce a long term strategic partnership with Holiday Extras, one of the leading travel extras providers. The partnership will start from 1st July 2016 and therefore from this date A2BTravelextras.com will no longer be able to take new bookings. However, for those of you with existing bookings, everything will remain as normal and you can be safe in the knowledge that your service will be delivered.

Should you wish to amend your existing booking, this can still be done using Manage My Booking, and normal terms and conditions will apply.

    Bang goes 'easy' lounge access.
