Re the Irish passport thing - DH has been thinking about applying for one. His parents are both Irish and arrived here as immigrants in 1961. However, since I am not eligible for one (being of noble/Viking descent ) there doesn't seem to be much point.

While we finish off decorating our spare room, there is a clothes rail temporarily residing in the bathroom. Had to get up during the night, completely forgot it was there and walked straight into it in the dark, giving my nose a hefty bash Fortunately no bruising but it does look a little bit swollen.

but when I click on the link they sent me all I get is a non sale page. The first item was vests with one colour for £1.49 and sold out and nothing else seemed to have a reduced price ...

What I really need is lots of items suitable for boys presents - twenty something's

(and very cheap posh wrapping paper, I am now using rolls of brown paper as I have none but the next birthday is in December so I am not worried yet )

My mum came across with her sister in 1947 - they must have been so desperate to escape their home life, my grandmother was a tyrant apparently

Many congratulations qoc xx At least they had time to give the bub drugs to help his lungs etc, glad dad is happy, some would be rather stunned if that happened.

Help needed ! I'm off on holiday in one hour and hubby has bought me a Fitbit for birthday present to open when I'm there for my birthday. Is it ok to take it in hand luggage does anyone know. Thank you
