    Afternoon :)

The nectar points thing is a bit bonkers, I'm still waiting from mycoupons points from 2 weeks ago that had apparently been added to my account. So far I've had 2 bonuses added, 1000 & 500, but can't help thinking there might be more on the way. They've had us on our toes a bit with this :rotfl:

Just been browsing bf deals on argos and the easel that was £19.99 is now reduced to £24.99 in the black friday event :rotfl: I guess it always helps to know how much things usually cost. I hope they're going to reduce the price back when bf has finished :)

I think TM has your points!

I don't think my daughter will ever come for a come out for a luxury hot chocolate with me again. I asked for my cream & marshmallows in a separate cup to the hot chocolate :rotfl: At least that way you get a full cup of hot chocolate as I've noticed that they only fill the chocolate up half way to allow room for the Marshmallows & cream.

I've also been fortunate to get (finally) 3 dove travel sets from SD in Bromborough. I visited there while product testing food and earning a fiver.

It's right though - when you can sometimes get bags of carrots for 9p, 20p is expensive for what is presumably a single piece of fruit. Maybe that's why the employee was laughing:rotfl:. (I think not - it was obviously the crowding around that was funny to them.)

On carrots, I've noticed that Lidl's 1Kg have gone back to 29p again (:(as it would have been better to have waited a few days when we ran out of them a few days ago and bought Aldi's at 43p:eek:, but we did need them quite desperately - just didn't come across any better whoopsies anywhere). Whoopsies can of course be got even cheaper than this - the best one of my Ms could manage though - with an increase in price from 44p to 50p recently - was a 'reduction' of 5p that still put the short-date version to more than the previous regular price:( - I did have a chuckle a couple of weeks ago when the price had gone up and one of my Ms had a yellow label for the increased 50p price (to be fair, my other Ms did use yellow so it was certainly not a tactic in use in every store) - of course, like the 20p fruit/veg., people out there more widely seem to think that 50p is a good price:huh:?!? There are some bizarre opinions in the more general populace:rotfl:. You know, I like to think we are a small, esoteric group of extremely educated people that understands more than the general population seem to. The 'problem' is that I don't always remember that I was in top stream at school, when in fact that was a minority (about 20%) of the entire school 'population', and therefore, more generally, the population is of people that 'don't know things' or 'don't really know much about anything at all:rotfl:' - we all know our own specialist talents - so it shouldn't come as a surprise that people seem to have these very strange views that they do. We are a weird bunch:rotfl: (or maybe, they are). It's very odd - but then a look at a lot of things as a watcher, identifying all this bizarreness and inconsistencies:rotfl:

I think you're correct (but on this, as IMO you rightly point out, it is a matter of opinion) - 20p for that does seem rather dear.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And I very much had to work down to the level of the most educated other 'normal' person around me rather than show the true knowledge that I had. I actually knew far more than I said at school but didn't say some of it because of not wanting to be called a 'swot'. The true swot that it turns out I now was - however, only I am allowed to call myself that;). I did - if I'd said everything I really knew - which I now think I ought to have done:p - the whole class would have been totally left behind. You non-autists in society have missed out a lot over the years due to not allowing the Asperger's person to be fully true. And I sometimes think 'they still don't let you be truthful sorry':rotfl::rotfl:.

If I did say everything truthful in every situation though, I would of course upset people which would not be 'right' (but then again maybe we ought to take it! - very hard, though, even I can't cope with full truth in all circumstances) so I just learned to shut my mouth. And then didn't know what to say at all:rotfl::doh:. So people thought I was quiet - I still can't easily bring myself to speak out loud or string full conversations together in society - I just dry up and don't know what to say - my brain it seems can't process what I want to say and saying it at the same time, unless it's on a specialist interest - and I find it very easy to communicate by letter or other writing. So, I go on about things on here - but, face-to-face... it's easier one-to-one - I'm very good indeed once you get to know me - and part of the problem is that, in groups of more than one other person, body language cues exist and the other people will be getting them from each other driving the conversation (as well as getting none from me and thus appearing to ignore me - they are still attracted to each other even after I tell them to ask me things and include me - which is hard to me to say to them if more than one person is talking and, anyway, I don't know the right words in which to do so or :doh:forget what I am saying - I don't know when to interrupt as I just have the vocals (from other people) to say so - I have to speak when they've finished their words, by which time, :doh:the topic of the conversation has moved on). I know all this now - I knew nothing about it years ago when I didn't 'know' I had Asperger's (and neither did the rest of the world - wasn't even recognised when I grew up). I now think the body language connections, that exist for most people, are just too overpowering that, even if I ask them to include me in a group, they'll still end up talking just to everyone else even after I've asked(:rotfl::rotfl:). It's not intentional, so I don't get bothered about it (I just find it funny now. Really love being ignored:rotfl::rotfl: (that's just because I know they don't mean it).). You will (if you are non-autistic) - you can't help it! Just as I can't help waffling on:rotfl:.

It's a society (indeed, world) that sometimes has a problem with the full truth. However, I do think we are also becoming more able to express our emotions in some areas too:cool:. I think it's better. It's better when people say things rather than being hamstrung. However, if what you say will upset me - it doesn't usually - then unfortunately the restriction on the truth comes back in again. It's not easy to say 'don't be upset' or to try not to be because sometimes things just do make us feel that way. That's also not to say that things also should not upset us from time to time, as being "upset" can, in rare situations, I think, be a "good" thing. Not that we want to deliberately cause it - but it is human emotion and sometimes it's a good thing to get things out of you and, perhaps, feel relieved after having done so. Thing is, sometimes I get upset even when I know people didn't mean something:rotfl: - though I can laugh about it (and that's a good thing) at some later point when more able to look at it objectively.

I've had this on a couple of occasions, so yes it's just a problem with the strawberry. Can't you find the 330ml in the chiller? They all work fine. :)
That's the answer I was hoping for, thanks.
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.

If anyone still has cinema codes to use up don't forget that you can book future performances before the codes expire at midnight tonight

Cineworld have also just today released tickets for Moanna next weekend if that helps anyone or you can use them for star wars/passengers

Bloomin' typical though. I missed out on Moanna because i gave my brother what i thought were spare codes and then they went and released more :(
