Hi V
I use a lift away , think a few people have them though
Is that a dyson one as none on currys site with that name.
Really kind to get one as be easier for me to use.
New cleaner started today and she is lovely. Been without for 6 months but can just about manage in the summer as everything stays a lot cleaner.
No she didn't break my vacuum cleaner. Will see if Ns hubby can take a look so can keep as a spare.

Just found the lift away. No good as I am unable to carry the lift bit around with me:(fairclaire wrote: ». I do think a chaise lounge is a good description of you though. Stylish yet comfortable and laid back

Re Waitrose our nearest one is Chester . I have 4 think it's £6 off a £30 spend. When this happens I like to go the once and use all 4 at the same time. Needless to say I'm there ages and my heads spinning. I don't like to buy things that are dearer than anywhere else as it defeats the object. Don't know if I can get my head round the pyo . Where are you Nellie
Hi emerald, I'm afraid that I wouldn't be much help to you. I've only been to Waities twice and I have used pyo once and have never used a conditional spend:eek: Good luck at the dentist:eek:0 -

The Dyson DC58 Animal might just make you start to look forward to vaccuming. It’s so good at picking up nearly all types of dust and grime and easy to use that we have given it a Best Buy recommendation. It won’t pick up a large spill of cornflakes as well as a dustpan and brush, but it does make up for it in all other areas and then some. £179.99
Third best is the Vax
This Vax is a handheld vacuuming phenomenon. There aren't many models that can ace all of our tough pick-up tests, but this one does just as well on pet hair as it does when sucking up cereal. We are so impressed we have given it a Best Buy. £49
Ignore this...I was looking at the wrong ones..Handheld as opposed to the stick...:o
Thanks for looking. I have a dyson hand held and I believe the ones I am looking at now work like my handheld as well but with a long stick with carpet/hard floor head as well.

Sorry couldn't resist. Good job TM is not about or this could go on forever.
I do feel for people flooded out. The government need to do far more for drainage and flood barriers and it seems older houses are far more at risk.
Village I bought my children up in flooded so road had to be shut. One year eldest ds was on his own and so worried he and his mates put all the furniture upstairs both at home and his his aunts house. Luckily they were ok but if you opened trap door could see water rushing through the footings:eek:
My dds mil has been without gas for 5 days as the builders building new homes nearby cut through pipes. No gas in 3 villages. They are in their 80s and village have been very proactive looking after everyone. Of course the local burger and fish vans are doing a great trade. Someone asked the builders what support they were providing and apparently they have done nothing.
They should have been arranging to deliver hot meals to everyone twice a day and providing electric heaters. Mil has lived in same house all her life and had storage heaters until 2 years ago when she finally had gas put in and central heating at last. Not impressed at all. But they have an open fire and are sleeping in their reclining chairs at night in front of fire.
Stay dry as you can.

We've just invested in one. Got it delivered from Aldi online.
£100, and it really is drawing the water out. It's fairly heavy, but I can get it up and downstairs, depending on where I want it to work.
Use it when I've washing to dry, (don't have a tumble drier), and use it to keep the various rooms, and the cellar, damp free.
During the day, I can leave it on in the next room, and the noise doesn't bother me,but at night time, I find it too loud, although my sons don't~ they can sleep through it.
It has a timer function, as well as working to reduce the saturation down to whatever level you set.
Been very impressed with it so far
