I don't really have anyone who knows what they are doing. Should I call sky and let them talk me through it ? Thanks Enterprise xx

Edit - yes it needs a password xx

If it needs a password then it is reasonably secure. Most routers are set up on WAP though, it would have come through that way. Personally I would think that it is the AV misreading it, but if you want to check it call Sky, tell them the problem you are having and they will talk you through it. They should also be able to give you the IP to put into the address bar on the browser. You wont do too much harm, but we have one or two customers that we would not let anywhere near their routers, they could wreck their networks by breathing on them!!!

If you want to have a look you could just pop onto the router page, it might even have the IP printed on it, you can play to your hearts content so long as you don't press save.

you jest...but actually some of my current thinking is perhaps buying them something like a pig or cow from the local farm shop...chopped up into manageable portions for the freezer....I've no idea whether it would be eaten.....but my thinking is at least there would be a couple of good steaks or ribs!

    Good evening:D

I don't know if it has been suggested as I haven't caught up yet... (my boss has actually wanted me to do some work:eek::eek::eek:)
How about sponsoring a child? Or I think the legion/salvation army or shelter do something along the lines of buying a Christmas dinner for elderly or homeless?
We done this the year before last for my MIL, she was actually thrilled with it:D

I ended up on that page E but don't want to mess with it lol.
It's not a very old router. It's avast on lappie that's saying insecure. When I scan my tablet with AVG nothing flags up. Just noticed I can get a free 12 month trial through sky with Macafee and am wondering whether to uninstall avast. What do you think ? Thanks for your help xx
