I see Shopprize has updated and is one account per device now. You also need to verify your account via text message. I've requested a code umpteen times now and it's not arriving :( anyone else having trouble?

Yes me they are bl**dy pests. I've had to email them directly from my iPad as I can't get in the app to email them from there. They reckon it's better well it's not.

Asda to cut fuel to 110.7p for unleaded and 112.7p for Diesel £1.10
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/asda-cut-fuel-110-7p-for-unleaded-112-7p-for-diesel-2546398

So, a 1p/litre cut as ours is already below average:(. I thought it was supposed to be 3p/litre. The other week I noticed two Ms - one near the A was the same price as A but the one 10 miles away was 4.5p/litre more! That is a massive difference to me and for a station not that far away from the other (but obviously far enough for supermarkets to charged increased prices and for people to just pay them). Even after a 3p/litre cut - even assuming it is that maximum at every station - it's still going to be 1.5p/litre more than the other station was a few days before - and that now will probably be just 1p/litre lower (thanks to the nearby A) so a saving of 2.5p/litre between different Ms. Seems like something a bit indirect is going on here - I mean the stated 3p/litre reduction (as mentioned by the media) not always been achieved - my suspicion being that, although the wholesale cost of fuel has been rising, I just suspect (on no evidence at all) that the supermarkets have been charging 2p per litre more than they 'should' for the past several weeks in order to cut 3p per litre now to make that seem more than it actually is - and, it seems, some aren't even getting that full advertised national cut that were a bit lower in the first place...

There is no collusion since different supermarkets simply set their prices according to what nearby competitors are charging.

("Advertised" through the media's free advertising as part of editorial news articles, and through this thread itself "advertising" it now. The supermarkets do like to put out press releases about price cuts that get picked up by the media but nothing of course is circulated when the opposite was happening earlier on. I am cynical though. But good that the pump price has gone down from a few days ago, even if - it seems to me - not always by as much as the claimed reduction.)

For anyone with the shopiprize receipt snappy app on Android it seems to have updated today.

I updated OHs no problem but I am stuck on updating my own app. It is on an old android phone which has no sim in it. To update now you have to send for a verification code now via text and you put your number in the box, we have tried every number in the house but no verification code has arrived :(
So I think I need to get a Virgin sim - its a locked phone to put in to get the verification code :(

all technology seems vexing this afternoon ...

I wish they would leave things alone the pests:mad: Mhoc mince pie only valid till Friday.

What is this free cheeseburger and mcflurry etc you speak of lol I need to get my head round it. Any more free drinks from hotel chocolate lately ? :)

Re your virgin sim you will probably have to top up too. I have with one of my phones but figure it's worth it in the long run, and I still couldn t get the code to come throug h thus wasting a days uploading of at least 675 points.
