Seems I have missed gammon
.
Never mind, unfortunately we have no room in the freezers or fridge anyway.

"A spokesperson for Marks & Spencer said: ‘We are very disappointed that anyone would choose to speculate in this way. This list is not based on any M&S data and we have not published any locations. What we have done is outlined plans to improve our store estate over the next five years which include opening 200 new Food stores and selling Clothing and Home from 60 fewer stores.’"
:rotfl::rotfl: Do you know what this does? Makes me want to speculate that much more! I so want to discuss which stores might go and which might stay after this. Shall we start/continue for even longer the big discussion as to which stores might close now? Does anyone think that Newcastle upon Tyne might close? How about Croydon? And what about West Wales? Maybe stores there will close or - speculate, speculate, gossip, gossip:D - maybe not.:rotfl::p
(Only joking, in a way - but only because I don't want this thread taken up by pages after pages of discussion about M&S stores closing as that's not going to help save much money.) My delight is absolutely proportionate to M&S spokesperson's claim to have been "disappointed". I also see no requirement that says speculation has to be based on M&S data and, accordingly, I regard that objection as irrelevant:p. I have now chosen to speculate. Speculation is not illegal and my own personal choice - and freedom to make that personal choice - to speculate should not be restricted or attempted to be restricted by any source.
I am disappointed that M&S chooses to try to restrict this. So who is now right and whose "disappointment" now trumps the other's?
(:rotfl:)
EDIT: I note they said "...speculate in this way" [my emphasis]. Maybe speculation in a different way is acceptable to them?:think: If so, I feel they should clarify exactly which ways in which speculation is done are acceptable to them and which ways are not. Apparently, we can't speculate "in this way" but speculation done in another way (and it's not fully clear to me what way that might be) is therefore, by clear implication, acceptable to them.
(:rotfl::rotfl:)
I notice there is talk about some gammon in M - what's this one all about?:o As usual, I told you I'd feel - and indeed be - out of the loop:( and as ever anything about gammon, or any good glitch, is something I don't pick up.0 -
Perranlady wrote: »I can also confirm gammon fixed!! I am such an idiot, I went at 9.00 this morning to my store, they had 4 of the correct gammons on the shelf, but for some stupid reason I had it in my head that they had to be marked with a red sticker at £3.75 per kilo, so I lost my nerve!! Then came home and re read the comments, realised it was the correct gammon, waited until lunch break, grabbed the last 2, went to self scan, something I am quite nervous about as I don't often use, then I had to call for assistance as I had forgotten my purse!! glitch fixed and I did not want to pay nearly £20!!
Oh sorry to hear this Perranlady:o
I've done this sort of thing before.......usually on line when I waste time going through TCB and my the time I go back in it's over:o
But great for all those who stocked up.

Can anyone help with a quick question, I have purchased the Up&Go from the fridge in tesco, but I have not kept it in the fridge as I assumed it only needed to be in fridge once opened, that's what it says on the pack, what do you all think! My tesco don't have the small packs and only the 330 ml in banana and honey, so looking forward to overage tomorrow!0
