So, a 1p/litre cut as ours is already below average:(. I thought it was supposed to be 3p/litre. The other week I noticed two Ms - one near the A was the same price as A but the one 10 miles away was 4.5p/litre more! Even after a 3p/litre cut - even assuming it is that maximum at every station - it's still going to be 1.5p/litre more than the other station was a few days before - and that now will probably be just 1p/litre lower (thanks to the nearby A) so a saving of 2.5p/litre between different Ms. Seems like something a bit indirect is going on here - my suspicion being that, although wholesale cost of fuel has been rising, I just suspect (on no evidence at all) that the supermarkets have been charging 2p per litre more for the past several weeks in order to cut 3p per litre now - and, it seems, some aren't even getting that full advertised national cut that were a bit lower in the first place...

("Advertised" through the media's free advertising as part of editorial news articles, and through this thread itself "advertising" it. The supermarkets do like to put out press releases about price cuts that get picked up by the media but nothing of course is circulated when the opposite was happening earlier on. I am cynical though.)

Yes and i went t today for fuel was £1.13 i was soo peed off , i drove straight back out of station:rotfl::rotfl:

When I applied for my gold amex, I was surprised that to learn that if I was referred I got an extra 2,000 points on top of the introduction welcome, as well as my referrer obtaining points.... definitely a win win situation!

I went to refer someone to the British Airways Premium Plus Card and could not get a referral bonus, as you can only refer someone to to the same card that you have, and I think the referral bonus to that one was sonething huge like 20,000 points
Mine is the one with no annual fee, so I dont have to cancel it every year, as they do have good offers now and again through the year.

Enterprise, we're your coins and level still the same after you verified? I'm seeing reports of people losing coins and their level dropping get back down :undecided

Mmm that wouldn't surprise me. I lost 500 points the other day because the receipts wouldn't upload  again lol

The gold amex is 20,000 introduction, and a bonus 2,000.

I did not realise you could't refer someone to a different card.... bit silly.

Evening all :) bit of a lurker here, used to post in DTD days but don't always have time to follow now. Incase anyone is going near a Mr Shoes then its worth looking in the clearance section. My local had LOTS of designer hair products and electrical bits very heavily reduced at the weekend (down to 10p/20p and 30p!!!) managed to get £235 worth of bits for just under £10!! Everyone will be getting hampers with hair products this year lol!
Have been using the NCG vouchers recently to get my free soup and have shared with family who have been very pleased, don't get near anywhere that has the Metro so haven't had any up and go vouchers but have loved reading about all the overage you have all be getting :).

    Good evening

Hope everyone is as well as can be X

I'm not even going to ask what I have missed in terms of glitches but I'm sure I have missed lots of birthdays and lots of news so belated birthday wishes and hope to catch up on other things soon X

As I'm sure some of you are aware that I haven't coped to well with the passing of my lovely nan and I had to take some time out, these past six months have been the hardest I have ever had to deal with and these last couple weeks I finally had to go to nans to pack her house up,I tried to put it off for as long as I could but couldn't hold out any longer, the emotions that came with doing that I certainly wasn't ready for and why I have been absent from here X

No gammon for me today :( M is a bit of a trek and I was too busy with other things. BUT I did have a bit of a result. Usually we use T points for our RAC membership. This year I really need the T points for avios, so found an RAC package that will suffice for about £52 - went through Quidco and got an email today confirming £35 cashback :T

Verdict from DH on the spelt bread: "It's quite heavy isn't it." He's got it again tomorrow - ham and mustard. He liked it better once I told him it was free :D

Just wanted to say a HUGE thanks to Bubbs - I don't always manage to keep up with what is going on as RL is super busy but Bubbs has patiently explained some of the latest glitches and I am looking forward to trying out the U&G and C&B tomorrow xx
