quick q..........with the amex small shops thing is it one solitary purchase in each shop? So only once in the shop over the promotion? Am thinking I may need a list of where to go as i'm in the !!!! end of nowhere with very few shops! and we know some people love lists lol
  • Good morning all.

Just looking at the green jinn app. Some quite good deals for Waities.

Combine with PYO. 2 packs of smoked bacon work out at £3.38, as also on buy 2 for £6.
4 Aberdeen Angus burgers work out £1.93 a pack
9 free range eggs work out to 94p.

Also those of you lucky enough to have received the extra 10% voucher can make even bigger savings:)

    Happy shopping everybody

    Good morning all...

I'm very late getting up...but I'm so tired.

I had a lovely weekend with OH and DS and it went all too quickly before we took him back to uni yesterday afternoon.

It's been a weekend that has cost a fortune due to one mishap and then another but neither put a damper on seeing my boy!!

I'm off to have a read back over what I've missed ....but it's good to see that mhoc arrived safely back from her holibobs.

I need to take it easy today...I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and whilst I am improving it still seems there is a long way to go before I can finally say I feel well.....although I do feel good for having my family around me over the weekend!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week....x

Thats such a sad ending, landfill. Bit like that pair of Millwall tickets that I won, just more landfill if they do not get recycled. :o

Sadly I have landfill too. My extra ticket for IHSC at London on 23rd looks to be headed there if not recycled.

The good news is I have sorted my free train fare so will be hoping to met a few of the ladies down there.

Good morning by the way. Hope everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.

Sarah...yes...ideally you want to spend £10 in each shop, on each card, to maximise the return...so a list is a must. I tend to search the map for butchers, newsagents (stamps), and pharmacy's. DH and I have 3 cards between us, and have never had any issues doing multiple shops and paying on each card. I usually ask for say, £10 of mince, then pay....then ask for £10 of chicken breasts, then pay on next card etc. Unfortunately no one-stop shops in my area this year :(
Just make sure you register on amex website to load the offer to your card...or if your card is issued by lloyds for example, you must go on the amex connect site and register there.
