I have been looking at somewhere to move our Cash ISAs to and have settled on T Bank where you get 1.11% for a 1 year fix - you can get 1.1% with Coventry BS on Easy Access but I decided T would be quicker to set up given I have T Current and Savings. If you make any withdrawals within the year then you lose 90 days interest. Who would have thought it would take so much effort to get 1%.

    I can't believe I'm looking at 2% for 5 years fixed

I split my shops into 4 lots today in sainsbobs - both cards gave me a Tu till spit, get 8p off fuel - one for a £15 spend and one for a £30 spend valid until the 26th - I expect that is before the double up starts

also my card gave one which says spend £1 get 200 points which apparently will make it the best Christmas yet :)
And looking on nectar I've got this for any spend as well loaded to my card so possibly two lots of 200 points.

Double up will be finished by then

Whats he done, or should i not ask?
How is your ankle now? better?

Just that I am told I am the worst parent ever, I never do anything for him, never buy him anything, treat him like a child.

All I asked him was "why hasnt he sorted his shifts out at his new job" and it all kicked off.

We have had doors slamming, screaming, shouting, swearing at us.

He turns 17 in a few weeks and wants to learn to drive. We offered to buy him a car, as long as he keeps his job up to save to pay for the petrol. So few weeks ago, he gives his job up in Wales, that he was earning a good wage on the weekend, to a job at home, because he says he never gets to see his friends, so started new job at well known fast food outlet, he has had 1 shift in 6 weeks, so we were not impressed because he has lost out on so much money.

Then he starts saying, he doesnt like his college course, but it was us that made him do this particular one, it wasnt we told him not to do it, but as he knows best, he is turning it all round on us.

Sorry bubbs, was probably best not to ask :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It has to be a store you've swiped your card at within the last 12 months

Their systems update overnight so you can't just swipe your card and then immediately pay with points, you have to give it a day

Alternatively, customer services can contact nectar who will do a workaround for you to use immediately. It just requires you answer some security questions

I was at a "new to me" S today and doubled up £20 to £40 on wine after going through this process with Nectar on the phone. The till slip shows 40 points earned for doubling up. Did we get this last time or is it only because Nectar sorted it for me?

I'm not doubling up anything until I know what the prices are. Your wine might have doubled in price by next week
