  • sigh. trying to find a waterproof cover for my treadmill. The roof is leaking in the shed and i've only been asking OH to help me fix for 7 months so I still have a will to wait. Its currently covered in black bags

I know he's busy but any one else asks him for help and he does it. Normally the same day, its really frustrating me atm.

I can find covers on ebay but they are £47, I was looking at motorbike covers but they are to narrow by 10cms grrr

If you go to somewhere like Bensons for Beds they might be able to sell you a giant plastic bag (meant to be a mattress transit cover, very handy for moving house) they were £7 when I was moving but the nice lady gave me mine for free.

    Good afternoon all...

quickly flying by to let you all know I am in the land of the living...but I won't be around over the weekend as a surprise arrived on the doorstep this morning....

he's not going back until Sunday so I want to make the most of every moment.

Apparently DS and OH have been planning this weekend for weeks...last weekend nearly put paid to it all but I think its really the tonic I needed.

So glad to have him home....even if it is only a flying visit between lectures.

    That is lovely news, enjoy.

When DS1 had been away for a year, he and OH planned a surprise visit for 5 days.... sadly when I had a 5 day hearing.... they will never organise something like that again... I was fuming!

Afternoon all - great rejoicing in the land, I am back

    :rotfl:

Can someone pretty please give me some clue as to what I've missed?
    MOCs
    cashbacks
    glitchs

I've not read back yet, 3rd load of washing on, cats collected and fed, junk mail sorted out (including 4 letters from Nationwide telling me about the accounts they are closing and downgrading  )
At least we have not come home to any disasters this time apart from one car with a flat battery

which reminds me I need to go and see if we are still solvent ...

Pleased to have you home... but can you go away again pretty please!
Anybody not put the heating on yet?

Ours hasn't been on, only the small fire in the lounge :D

    Heating is not on.

    No fires have been on.

Windows downstairs are now closed (but back door is open), windows upstairs are still open.

    :D:D:D:D
