Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Cold and dark here since about 5pm. As much as I love winter, love new snow, which we haven't got, I hate the dark nights and mornings. I wish I could hibernate and wake up in the spring to see life anew

Well, I went to Ipswich looking for my coat. It seems that stocks of clothing online aren't usually in store  bah. I'll just have to wait for new stocknow .

Anyway, I got hope, kicked off my boots and enjoyed a coffee before heading upstairs to find my cardigan. On turning quickly, I've only gone and kicked the side of my foot on the corner if the door and broken my little toe  well, come on, what more do you expect, it seems I'm accident prone apparently

Welcome home mhoc, hope you've had a good holiday :)
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
  • Anybody not put the heating on yet?

Ours hasn't been on, only the small fire in the lounge :D

Turned ours on last Saturday - we don't have a separate fire in the lounge.

    Late as usual.

Haven't caught up but i do wish you well ♥

Been & helped in Poppy Shop this morning, then to service at Cenotaph - then library, Lidls, home, out again, Post Office, 2016 Olympic 50ps, bumped into friend trying to find an Edinburgh £1 coin & she had £500 of £1 coins to go through from bank. So that took a bit of time....
    Found Belfast & Cardiff - still need London x 2 & Edinburgh x 1

You've had a busy day Snap, I'll ask dh if he has any spare in his collection. He went to the bank yesterday and came back with £500 bag of £2 as he's looking for the WW1 £2 with the ship on it, can't remember what it is   I'll hobble off and see where he is and ask

Glad it was this afternoon I got spoke like that from troutface and not the other day when I was down or I would have burst into tears .

I think as NOK you are entitled to a discussion with your mum's consultant. That used to be the case anyway.

I looked after an elderly neighbour for years and years, she had no family till she died (when suddenly they magically re-appeared.) When she was in hospital for an operation, I went every day and I asked the Ward Sister one day how she was doing and she raised her eyebrows and said 'And who exactly are you?'

When I told my neighbour she said 'You're all I've got. Tell the Sister that next time.' :rotfl:

Sounds like they just want to take up a reference. I would be inclined to look on it positively as they wouldn't do that if they had no interest
