Sorry to hear of your mishap AJ. Take it easy xx
So the job at my work, full time office which I had interview for. I was asked yesterday by the person that interviewed me when my manager is back from annual leave.
She is back on Monday but not sure on the significance of the question...............???? xx
That is a good sign, but I cannot believe that they have made you wait this long xmiss_corerupted wrote: »sigh. trying to find a waterproof cover for my treadmill. The roof is leaking in the shed and i've only been asking OH to help me fix for 7 months so I still have a will to wait. Its currently covered in black bags
I know he's busy but any one else asks him for help and he does it. Normally the same day, its really frustrating me atm.
I can find covers on ebay but they are £47, I was looking at motorbike covers but they are to narrow by 10cms grrr
Ms C, I would go on strike until he sorted it (and I mean withdraw all labour... in EVERY way possible.... he will get it mending in 2 days!)

But like all points things you can only redeem in multiples of 500 pts.
So if you spend 21.99 on fuel you have to pay 1.99 in cash.
I am now hoping that the Curry etc points get added.... I could fill everyones cars up x100 -
Good afternoon all...
quickly flying by to let you all know I am in the land of the living...but I won't be around over the weekend as a surprise arrived on the doorstep this morning....
he's not going back until Sunday so I want to make the most of every moment.
Apparently DS and OH have been planning this weekend for weeks...last weekend nearly put paid to it all but I think its really the tonic I needed.
So glad to have him home....even if it is only a flying visit between lectures.

I can't really deliberately exclude him from meal times.... or can I??? hmmm
I debating on whether to sleep on the sofa (mainly because of the snoring which he won't try and sort) that will probably have the biggest effect :rotfl:I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammarMortgage pay off date 11/2028. Target 12/2020 :rotfl:

Afternoon all - great rejoicing in the land, I am back
:rotfl:
Can someone pretty please give me some clue as to what I've missed?
MOCs
cashbacks
glitchs
I've not read back yet, 3rd load of washing on, cats collected and fed, junk mail sorted out (including 4 letters from Nationwide telling me about the accounts they are closing and downgrading  )
At least we have not come home to any disasters this time apart from one car with a flat battery
which reminds me I need to go and see if we are still solvent ...
mhoc good to have you back.
Hope that you enjoyed your holiday and pre-holiday hotel. Did you remember to check that you've been refunded

Yes but bigger carton in t and good for a filler
I would get the free ones, and then fillers such as tin of T*sco beans.... I am too tight!miss_corerupted wrote: »I know, i stopped doing his washing 2 days ago, probably 2 weeks before he runs out of clothes lol.

Yes but bigger carton in t and good for a filler
But costs 17p for the 100g? T's £1.17 actually works out slightly more expensive than £1 per 600g, so the extra is paid for at more expensive unit cost than buying 600g at £1. 600g in A would be better if we waited until somewhere else on 600g was £1 - but would coupons still be valid at that time?
People wouldn't need fillers if they shopped elsewhere. Unless there are coupons against something else in a shop at T, it's simply price match on other items in the shop as long as they compare so why buy 10 items when you could just buy one? Unless there is overage on another coupon paying against the full T shelf price (or what should be assuming the T SEL is correct), it makes no sense to buy 10 items - simply buy the one item you need at the competitor. It's just getting people to buy more items from T than they would buy at a competitor and therefore ending up spending more unless there is overage. It makes no sense to me even to have overage if you are then paying more in cash/card on buying anything as a filler at all. If it is bought as a "filler", that implies that it is an item that you would not have bought had you not been trying to do a comparison shop. You are therefore getting it solely in order to get the number of items to qualify for the TBG scheme and therefore paying unnecessarily for it - falling for the marketing of TBG that gets you to buy more than you would otherwise have done - take the overage on the C&B coupons (or whatever it is - I have no clue as not been shopping at T) and then subtract the total cost of all fillers. That is now how much, or little, overage you are really getting. And I've no truck with the matter about convenience either - it's buying more from T than you would have done had they not offered TBG and therefore paying T for every item bought in excess of what you would really already have bought. It's a very clever scheme by T that simply gets people - even if they get overrage - to buy additionally from T items to get the 10 items that they would otherwise have bought elsewhere and therefore to pay money to T that they would not have done that would have been better paid to a competitor instead.
Whatever the situation, anything in excess of an item with the actual overage is a purchase from T that pays them extra for something that may otherwise not have been bought there - so it is still giving T at least some more money (and therefore contravening my principle of paying anything whatsoever extra at all). At the competitor, you could have had the 'cheaper' item without more, although you would have not got the overage. That overage therefore has to pay fully and entirely for every item that you buy beyond that, otherwise it's something paid to T that would not have been paid at a competitor (where you just bought the cheaper item, albeit lost the overage - but then the overage cannot be taken to be 100% of the overage if you are buying anything extra whatsoever - so, as I said, take the overage and subtract the cost of all items that do not give overage and that you would not have bought had you been at the same competitor at the competitor's prices). Also depends on how far away your T is compared to an A as to whether it's best getting NYCs in T or A, and to what extent you are able physically to shop at different rival chains.0 -
