I've no idea what exactly is "swearing" as I no longer know precisely and absolutely what can and can't be said in any situation.
See what I mean:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.I saw them, bloody fatal when the kids get hold of them, they would want more than normal sticking them stickers on:rotfl::rotfl:
Of course, I have a "good" idea of what might be considered to be "inappropriate", for no reason at all other than people's socially conditioned and therefore deeply held opinions, and therefore take a very cautious approach and generally avoid anything at all. I avoid anything that might upset someone. Except that this discussion might do so:rotfl: - if so, just skip!:)
Oh dear... insert Savvy "swearing" under his breath at home... and indeed, unlike most people who have no problem doing this, I find it impossible, in RL, to bring myself to produce any of the words vocally even when in front of only friends. This is actually not the person that I wish to be - I get misunderstood all the time and it is simply that I cannot do it, it makes me physically uncomfortable to even try - such a bad reaction I have had to it in the past - and I sound extremely formal in situations and don't make friends because of it. I think this may be an autism thing again (everything in my life is autism-related - it is called a pervasive disorder), though not everyone with autistic spectrum disorder will be affected the same - some people with Asperger's don't understand social conventions so "swear" in inappropriate situations though I think this is very uncommon indeed - most of us are sticklers for rules so comply with them fully, such as my parents/teachers rule, which I took literally, that "you never swear". So, I didn't and I think I've made it worse for myself - and, also, didn't understand the social rules and was a rules policeman so any breach of that rule by the other children around me got reported by me to teachers and I couldn't understand why I was wrong and why I lost friends:rotfl:. They also got me on "you never tell lies" as well. When I told the full truth in some situations, people got upset:rotfl:. :huh:Why would that happen?!? I was just following what my teachers said. After I learned that people don't like the truth sometimes, and learned therefore not to say it, I just kept entirely quiet and didn't say anything at all because I don't know what to say. Then people thought I was ignoring them:rotfl:. But I can't tell a lie, even one 'required' by others, as that makes me feel physically uncomfortable.
So, I'm supposed to tell white lies occasionally, to make people feel good (is my dress crap? for instance - oops there I go again:rotfl::rotfl:, apologies (insincere!:D) for my "foul" language - and answer Savvy is... "Er, no" (even if it is)) - but I can't, so don't ask me:p:p:rotfl::rotfl::A - as it's almost always unacceptable (in this society) to make anyone feel uncomfortable and I agree with that standard - if I'm therefore required by society to make someone comfortable by a white lie but that that makes me feel uncomfortable, then it's unacceptable to require me to tell the white lie - so it's either you or me that is uncomfortable and, I'm sorry, it's not going to be me! Can't win...:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Sorry, I don't either :rotfl: none of my men would wear them and I've got 7 to buy for :eek:There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
